Bodybuilding question?!


Question: Bodybuilding question!?
I am 14 years 2 months, 5 ft 11, 63 KG, athletic build!.

I am trying to get into bodybuilding!. How long should i work out for!?

what weights should i use!? how many sets/reps!?

how many times a week should i go to the gym and for how long!?


Finally, is it true that lifting heavy weights at my age stunts growth!? Please answer this, if anything!. I dont want to be a midget!.

Body building can be a good activity!. If you are really serious you would want to work out at least 3 times a week minimum, but no more than 6 days a week!. As for how long let your body tell you how it feels, if you push too much you might hurt yourself!.

as for how much weight start light especially at your age!. Before you reach puberty your bones are still growing and lifting too much weight will stunt them, but if you are past puberty your bones are already hardening!. So, focus on higher reps like 12-15 and do 2-3 sets!. AGAIN, use LIGHT weights!. As you get stronger increase weight and change up your routine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes if you lift weights too much and too often it might stunt growth!. Dont over do it with weights!.
At your age I would look for some other way to develop physicaly!.
In fact at your age lifting weights can damage your spine!.

Try to do some athletics and find some sport activities that will keep your heart pumping for a long period of time!. This will make its stronger and larger and will eventualy help in your future body building career!. Also do something like swimming which will increase your lung capacity!. Dont forget to stretch a lot!. This will help you to develope longer and more tuned muscle structure and your muscles will show better!. Also jumping rope is a good daily activity!.

If I were you I would go to the gym and experiment a little and perhaps by some light weights for home( 2-3kg, 4-6pounds) and play around with those, but you shouldnt think about bodybuilding at this moment since there are lot better activities that will help you develope physicaly and be much more fit!.

So in conclusion your muscles are still developing as well as your skeleton!. Do move alot, but lifting is pointless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should include this workout in your lifestyle and not just for a month or two!. you should use at least 70 lbs for your built!. but if you cant handle that then start lighter!. don't start too heavy or you'll sprain yourself!. do at least 5 sets of 50 reps!. try to go to the gym everyday or at least 4-5 times a day!. and yes because it elongates the muscles which produce longer muscles and therefore it stunts your growth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

wait another 4 yrs!.!.!.you cant lift weights now but you can get active in sports,dance and martial arts and also do calisthenics to gain definition!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
