Do sit - ups really work?!


Question: Do sit - ups really work!?
ive been told they do by some people and ive been told that they dont get rid of the fat on your stomach by others!?

I believe that sit ups will tone and strengthen the stomach muscles but not burn too much fat!. You need cardiovascular exercise to reduce the fat and then the sit ups to tone!. Otherwise you'll have a six pack hidden in fat!. Cycling did it for me but had to do at least 80miles a week to work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They do work, but most people don't know how to do them properly!. Plus you need to do a good range of exercises to burn fat properly!. Start by having a good clean diet too!. If you don't eat properly your body will not metabolise properly and you won't burn fat properly!. This is most peoples biggest problem, not with how much or how little exercise they do, but by having poor diets!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Situps strengthen and tone your abdominal muscles, however they dont burn fat specifically from your stomach!. There is no such thing as "spot" weightloss!. Meaning any excercise you do will burn fat equally from all parts of your body!. If you do bicep curls, ur arms aren't gonna be the only part of your body that has fat burned!. Think about it, if somebody did situps everyday but was slightly overwieght, do you think they would have a six pack, but still have flabby arms and legs!. Nope!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to do a lot more than just sit-ups to lose your belly fat!. Its a good place to start though!. I think that you need to get rid of most of the fat by doing cardio, and then start working on the muscles!. Also you need to watch what you eat!. Yes they do! All you've got to do is concentrate on sit-ups!. Diet and make sure you don't have a lot of cream, butter, oil etc!. They should only be taken 7%!.

Try to do some aerobics dancing, exercise, non-stop!. That will surely help you!.

sit ups don't get rid of fat on their own no!. you have to do some cardio to lose the fat and sit ups at the same time, which tone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sit ups are a muscle resistance exercise they are not going to burn fat as they are not calorie intensive that's what swimming and running is for Www@Answer-Health@Com

i agree with the people above; you need to do more than sit ups, you need to burn the fat!. try jogging or bike riding!.
