I have a friend who weighs about 3001b who blames a thyroid deficiency for her weight even though the deficiency is slight and has been corrected with tablets!. At the same time she drives everywhere even if it is only 400 yards up the road!. The only exercise she has is a bit of gentle housework and as she lives alone there isn't much!. She has a hearty appetite and enjoys eating out - often a baguette with chips (fries) or an eat as much as you like buffet!. She also enjoys cakes icecream sweets and biscuits!.
I once got her to go to weightwatchers with me but she couldnt be bothered to count the point value of foods!. She is now on slimming tablets but does not watch what she is eating and is not losing weight as desired!.
Some people cannot be helped!.
