Question: My diet isnt helping me lose weight!!?
i recently lost 1/2 stone in 2 weeks from hardly eating anything but i want to lose alot more weight, about 1&1/2stone as im overweight!. this has been my diet for 2weeks and i havent lost or gained any weight!.
Breakfast: cheerios (30g) with milk
Tea: lagasne or shepherds pie or cheese omlet
Snacks: Fruit
Drinks: water & vimto sugar free

I havent been exercising much except walking my dog for 30mins everyday!. Why arnt i loseing any weight!? im fourteen by the wayWww@Answer-Health@Com

You are doing things the wrong way, especially by trying to lose weight by 'not eating', your body thinks it's being starved so the metabolism (the rate at which your body burns calories) slows down!.

You are also eating the wrong things right now!.

Breakfast!.
Cheerios - processed cereal, high sugar = bad bad bad!.
Have porridge (not that instant in a sachet muck), or oatmeal!. yes, it tastes bland at first but you'll get used to it, it;s really filling and you won't have hunger pangs!.

Tea!.
Lasagne / shepherds pie / cheese omeltte!. Again, bad!.
Lasagne - high in carbs and mince is quite fatty!.
Shepherds pie - basically, as lasagne!
Omelette - cheese, fatty, especially if you have loads!.

Snacks!.
Fruit = good!!

Drinks!.
Water = good!
Sugar free Vimto = bad!. Will have chemicals and sweetners!.

Do you actually have lunch!?

For lunch and for dinner you should be eating lean protein - grilled fish / chicken / turkey / pork, with vegetables or salad and a small amount of carbs - I'm talking a small handful of cooked wholemeal pasta or a very small handful of cooked brown rice!. Your vegetables / salad should cover half your plate!.

You say you are 14, so are you losing weight because you need to or because you feel you have to!?

The foods I've listed aren't actually a diet, they are a healthier way of living - if you eat wholesome foods with no chemicals or additives, then you will feel fuller for longer and be healthier!.

Exercise wise, you should aim for 50minutes, 5times a week - enough to break you out in a sweat!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try eating a bit more (and more protein), and excercising more!. You need protein to build muscle, since muscle burns calories just by existing!.

Your body might even be in starvation mode, which means it's trying to hang onto every last calorie because it thinks you're in danger of starving!. Try a healthy diet you can maintain rather than starving yourself (at 14, you'll mess up your metabilism for life, and not in a good way)

You need to try and do more exercise!. To lose weight you need to burn off more calories than you consume per day!. Try to include lots of fresh fruit and vegetables in your diet, and no refined foods!. Cheese has a high fat content, so lasagne and anything else that contains it are a bad idea!. Also, eat more lean protein (fish, lentils, beans) as protein helps keep you feeling full, as do high fibre foods such as oatmeal!. And drink lots and lots of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i don't think a diet or anything is what you should be doing!. you should start exercising more alot more and do full body work outs!. like squats, y-squats (squats w/ ur arms up in the shape of a y),push ups jogging those kind of things at least twice a week!. eat more fruits and vegetables drink lots of water and try eating things with less fat and carbs well good luck =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to eat smaller portions, more often!. If you starve your body, it goes into a kind of hibernation mode!. It thinks no food will be coming for a long while, and stores what you do give to it!. If you eat smaller portions, more often, it will speed up your metabolism!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your starving yourself so your body is storing all the food, eat more protien foods like grilled chicken or Salmon and eat more seeds and nuts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wheres lunch,dinner and supper!?!?skipping meals is stupid!.!.!.you should incorporate more toning exercises like yoga and pilates besides walking!.!.!.get active in sports,dance and martial arts!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this diet wont work!. there is no protein and very little veggies!. cheese and lasagne are not good for dieters too!.
