Should I be worried that I lost seven pounds in less than a week?!

Question: Should I be worried that I lost seven pounds in less than a week!?
I've confirmed it with two different scales!. I did stop eating so much fast food, but that just seems excessive!. Should I be worried!? If it keeps up (losing more than 3-4 pounds a week), at what point should I see a doctor about it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, if you did confirm your weight on two different reliable scientific scales, here's what i think:

Yup fastfood can give you a lot of excess calories and fat, and congratulations that you can avoid them! Just remember ITS A NO NO to stop eating entirely! Switching to healthier foods and lessening the portions and not starving is the key!.!.!.

Ideally you shouldnt lose more than 1-2 lbs per week, but regarding the 3-4 pounds you lost, we can attribute them to losing also body water, which from what I know are lost in the first week!.!.!. especially if you're also starting a regular exercise routine!.

If next week if your gonna lose that much, I suggest see a doctor about it, or as soon as you experience symptoms -- lightheaded, dizzy, nauseated, chest pains, etc!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is most likely water weight!. And also if u r not eating enough protein u could be losing muscle!. Eat whole grains, lean protein and lots of fruit and vegetables!. DO NOT go low carb!. It is just a fad and wont do u any good!. If u r intentionally trying to lose weight take a multi vitamin and mineral supplement and try to take a fish oil or flax seed oil ( omega 3 fatty acids) supplement too!. Drink plenty of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you were thin already, yes!. Could be a tapeworm or something!.!.!.
But if you are overweight or were previously then no; not to put too fine a point on it, fat people have faster metabolisms as a natural defence against becoming obese!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
