Jogging and weight lifting to lose weight?!


Question: Jogging and weight lifting to lose weight!?
I've been jogging daily recently and when I get home I want to use the weights but I was wondering if that would help!. I'm trying to shed some pounds and make my belly smaller and I was wondering if weights would actually help since it would build muscle and actually weigh more than fat (at least I think that's how it goes!.)

can anyone tell me if it is good to lift weights after jogging to lose weight, or does it hinder the process!?

and if it doesn't, does anyone have any recommendations for types of exercises to do to get the best workout!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No it won't hinder you It will help a lot!.Muscle burns fat like crazy,building muscle is a great way to lose fat!.As for a workout I would suggest something simple like this

Day 1
-Bench Press 3x8-10
-Flys 3x8-10
-Rows 3x8-10
-Deadlifts 3x8-10

Day 2
-Concentration Curls 3x8-10
-Hammer Curls 3x8-10
-Kickbacks 3x8-10
-Overhead triceps extentions 3x8-10

Day 3
-Shoulder Presses 3x8-10
-Side lateral Raises 2x8-10
-Front lateral Raises 2x8-10
-Squats 4x15
-Lunges 4x 15

Do this workout Monday,Wednesday,Friday then repeat the following week!.Its a pretty basic workout regimen and you can easily change it to suit your personal style better if you wish!.If your unsure of what some of the exercises are try bodybuilding!.com they have pictures along with lots of different workouts you can try out!.Good luck Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why don't you ask that question of the local physical fitness center!. They will tell you the answers!. Don't expect much success if you do not change your eating habits as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your going to lift, do light lifting!. this will tone you up but still lose the fat!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lifting weights will help tighten your muscles, the only time you actually gain weight from lifting weights is when you do heavy weight lifting which we use to gain muscle mass!.

I suggest when you weight lift keep it under 1/10th your weight so you won't gain muscle mass!.

Jogging is a very good way to lose some weight do this with diet!.

Don't eat fried foods, fast foods, salty or sweets!.

Eat steamed or grilled chicken or fish!. If you want to skip a meal that would be fine as long as you take vitamins to make up for the nutrients you may lack for skipping the meal!.

There are a lot of combinations for workouts depending on what you are after!. If the stomach is your main concern, 2-leg raises flat on the back will target your lower abdomen, crunches will target your upper abdomen!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
