Please help me with some healthy lunch ideas for today!!?!


Question: Please help me with some healthy lunch ideas for today!!!?
Okay so I need a healthy lunch idea of about 400-500 calories!. Really healthy though!.

I have 90 cal, 3 gram of fat tortilla wraps!. And I was thinking I could put one tablespoon of natural/organic peanut butter and 2 teaspoons of low sugar jelly on it!. With a serving of pretzel nuggets (120 cal) and a fresh fruit mix (blueberry, raspberries, and a pear)

but I'm scared of the fat that is in that peanut butter may make me gain weight or put too much fat on me!. I know the fat in that is "good" but seriously, how good can it be to not make you gian weight!?
So would it be better if I just had a turkey, lettuce, tomato wrap on that!?


Is there any other ideas you ahve that don't involve sandwiches or salads!?

As long as you count the calories in the PB in your daily total, you'll be fine!. Don't worry about the fat!.!.!.as you said, it's the healthier variety and you need some of that!. I'd use 2 T!. of PB, which is about 180 calories, and a T!. of jelly on the wrap!. That sounds good! Sliced bananas inside would be yummy too!. The pretzel nuggets are fine, if you need crunch, but don't offer any nutritious value!. Good on the fruit!

Here's some ideas for another time:

1) Pack a little container of salad dressing and eat with raw veggies such as carrot and celery sticks, broccoli and cauliflower pieces, etc!.
2) Instead of a cookie or other sweet item, pack a mixture of dried fruit, nuts, and coconut!.
3) Add a few cubes of cheese or even string cheese for extra calcium!.
4) Pack apples and pears that have been cored and sectioned to make eating easier!.
5) Make extra salad at dinner and pack a small portion to eat with half a sandwich!.
6) Take a small container of 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter to smear on an apple or pear!.
7) Take a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese and eat with veggies or whole-wheat crackers!.
8) Make a sandwich with whole wheat tortilla instead of bread!. Fill it with veggies and some lean turkey!.
9) Hot soup in a thermos!.
10) Hard-boiled eggs
11) Yogurt with a little fruit and some granola or Kashi on top!.

woah you are dont have to worry about getting fat seriously!. my friend is 15 and weighs 116 and she is far from fat!. but you are 17 thats actally too low!. you should actually consider eating more calories!. you need to gain a coupleof pounds!. you're underweight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Skip the peanut butter b/c while delicious, it does contain a lot of calories!. Go for the wrap instead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's weird, we have all of that stuff at my house too! Don't worry about peanut butter, just follow the servings!. 2 tablespoons = 190, 1 tablespoon is only 95!. It is high in calorie though, isn't it!? I'm mad because I had ALOT of peanut butter for breakfast today!. I couldn't stop eating from the jar! DX

Anyway, there is a lot of food you can get that isn't salads or sandwhiches!.

- Microwaveable mac n cheese (300 calories a bowl)
- Microwaveable dinners
- Soup
- Cereal
- Crackers and cheese (or peanutbutter) with nuts, trailmix, or fruit

I dunno, just go to the grocery store or something!. ;)
