Question: What should I do to lose belly fat but not get ugly muscle!?
Im a 14 yr!. old girl and I weigh 120lbs!. Im not really fat, but I have to suck in my tummy all day!. Im really good at it but I dont want to have to do that anymore!. Im trying to find a way to go running/walking in the mornings, but my home life kind of prevents that from happening!. Im wondering if there is any way I can do sit ups or something to lose the belly fat!. How many!? And is there a way I can do it, and not get muscle there!. I hate the muscle look right there or in arms!. One of my friends has it and I dont want to look like that!.!.!. thnxWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you've got 'belly fat' I doubt you have to worry about getting a six pack o_0 !.!.!. plus girls rarely get 'big ugly muscle' because they don't have the testosterone to fuel it!. Girls generally just get tight, lean muscle!.

The only way you're going to get a flatter stomach is by losing weight because there is muscle there already, it's just covered in a layer of fat!.

Cardio will help you lose the fat - jogging, cycling, team sports, putting on some music and dancing like a maniac in your bedroom (my personal favourite) - and some ab exercises will help you gain muscle so it looks tight (but not muscley)!. I did this exercise video for a few months and it made such a difference !.!.!.

Little girl you have absolutely nothing to worry about, I wish I was 120lbs again, because after i had my baby my body totally lost shape and now am 166lbs wishing i could be 120lbs again!. I walk every day and excersize most of the time to loose the darn belly fat but it just aint working!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your best bet would be to focus on a routine of diet and exercise!. Burning off the fat from one muffin can easily take two hours on the treadmill!. Depending on the size of the muffin and the speed you're going at, which may cause a time crunch for you!.

Therefore, the easiest option that is healthy for you, is to cut out excess sugars from your diet!. If you consume regular soda, or fruit juice (which frequently is mostly sugar water) then you should start there!. Your body does still require nutrition to grow, and excess sugar won't do much to help it!.

Switching from whole milk to skim milk, avoiding chocolate milk in favor of any regular milk, and replacing candy with fruits will make a world of difference!. Chocolate milk contains a little cocoa and a large amount of high fructose corn syrup, so while it does have calcium, regular milk is much better for you--especially if you are trying to lose weight!.

Don't be afraid of working out either!. Without a massive protein intake, which you do not have, you won't see any major muscle growth!. situps don't work they just stress your back!. Try to do crunches, reverse crunches, & cross crunches!. They work your lower & upper abs & also your obliques (love handles)!.

Crunches- keep your feet on the ground & lie on your back, put your hands behind your head & bend your knees!. lift up with your stomach & try & do 4-5 sets of 15-30!.

Reverse Crunches- lie on the floor, feet flat, keep hands behind your head & lift your butt up to make it look like you're trying to get your knees to touch your chest!. & try & do 4-5 sets of 15-30!.

Cross Crunches- Lie on your back, knees bent, so your left foot is resting flat on the floor!. With your right knee bent, place your right foot across your left knee!. Place your left hand at the side of your head and your right hand on the left side of your abdominals or on the floor next to your thigh!. Curl your body up with a twisting movement, bringing your left shoulder toward your right knee!. slowly lower your body to the ground!. & try & do 4-5 sets of 15-30!.

Bonus : The Bicycle Exercise
This is a bonus exercise that works all three areas of your stomach simultaneously!. Lie on your back on the floor with your hands behind your head!. Slightly bend your knees and bring them in towards the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the ground!. Straighten the left leg out to about a 45-degree angle while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee!. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow towards the left knee!. Continue alternating sides in a 'pedaling' motion for 15-30 reps!. Rest a few minutes and do another set!. Try to do 3-4 sets!. If you are a beginner or if this is hard for you do 10 repetitions for one set and gradually work your way to the recommended amount of repetitions!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
