Gaining 20 Pounds.... Can you please help?!

Question: Gaining 20 Pounds!.!.!.!. Can you please help!?
Ok, so i am in this partial hospitalization program for anorexia recovery!. Right now, i am 5'4, 17 years old and 81lbs (i gained a pound this week! which is good, i guess)!. Anyways, the doctors there want me to reach around 100-105lbs and they see this as an ideal weight!. However, i have always been very thin (i have never weighed over 87lbs-- i continued to grow in height, but failed to gain weight)!. The idea of weighing 100 lbs really kind of scares me, but i want to get out of this program so i can go back to school and have my normal life again!. I also know in my heart that i need to gain weight, but 20lbs seems like so much!. Is 100-105 still thin for my height and age!? The idea of gaining 20lbs scares me, and im afraid i will look and feel totally different!. I am just really dreading it, because the doctors expect me to gain 1-3lbs a week, (they give you meal plans and calorie increases, but it seems like some of the girls in the program have to eat a ridiculous amount of food) or i will have to go inpatient!. Can anyone help me calm down!? I'm feeling really anxious and uneasy about all this!.

ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

A girl that's really skinny such as 87lbs is not very attractive!. If you weigh 105lbs you will look much sexier!. Trust me, given your height 105lb is not fat at all!. You will still be on the slim side!. You will also be healthier which is the main purpose of this!. Don't be anxious try to focus on bettering yourself and before you know it you will be out into your normal life!.!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to look at it like this: dont do it because someone else wants you to!. Do it because you want to look & feel better!. When you are healthy, you not only feel better physically, but mentally!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You do have to gain 20 pounds, for your health!. If you calculate your BMI, you'll see for your height, you are way underweight right now!. Even 100 pounds will still be underweight for you!. Do you understand the health risks for being underweight!. We all know that being overweight increases the risk of high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, etc, but being underweight has its own risks!. For you, being 105-110 pounds would be far more healthy, but that's just on the bare edge of being underweight/healthy!. Allow yourself to get better!. It'll be weird at first to see your body change, but it is changing in good ways!. You're not filling your body full of junk, you're filling it full of healthy options that are going to be good for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
