actually i believe summer you would lose more sweat however remember what you lose you have to replace so I would go ahead and say winter!. your body burns calories to heat up your body (hense the heat you feel when running) when you run outside in the summer your body has no need to heat itself up so calories burned are calories burned!. However during the winter you not only burn calories from running but you burn calories from thermogenesis (thermo - heat genesis - making of)Www@Answer-Health@Com

They're both about the same!. Calories are calories, no matter the season!. You'll lose water weight in summer if you sweat a lot and don't drink enough to replace it, and in winter you'll use a little extra energy to keep your body warm, but in the end if you take care of yourself by drinking enough and dressing appropriately there isn't much of a difference!. More you sweat more weight you lose, so you are right that your body needs to burn more calories in order to keep it warm but it will not sweat as much in winter!.!.!.
