Question: Does eating right after you workout ruin everything you did and calories burned!!?
Okay so I just got back from the gym and I ran 3!.2 miles in 27:20 minutes!. it's not the best, but it was really hard today!. and then i did about 200 crunches!.

i left because i was feelin sort of dizzy and tired!. and i came home and ate a fiber one granola bar (140 calories, and 4 grams of fat) and i had some more water!.

will eating that RIGHT after i worked out basically ruin what i did!? did i just eat back everything i burned!? this sucks :(

and after dinner i am going to do 20 minute pilates video if that matters any!.!.!.haha!.

and im 17, 5'5'', and 113 lbs if that helps any

Great workout, by the way! As for your question!.!.!.no way, where did you get that idea!? Think of your body weight in terms of a 24-hour period!. Within that period of time, how many calories you consume in relation to how many you burn--that is the issue!. Doing another short workout later in the day will help keep your metabolism strong-that's a good plan!. Your weight is already low for your height, so make sure that eating healthy is your plan and not dieting!.!.!.

actually after you workout, you are supposed to eat something, your supposed to eat something healthy though!. when you workout, what it basically does is breakdown the muscle and the food you eat afterwards is what gives the workout completion!. if you ate unhealthy then yes, either it would ruin it, or turn it into fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

u need to eat after you exersize cuz u just burned up all that fuel and u need more, its not wrong to eat after u exersize like that and since u were kinda dixxy and stuff sound like u needed to eat, and how long were u exersizing for cuz u wana make sure that you are eating enough and drinking enough healthy food and water, u dont wana be a stick!. u wana eat alot, its good your exersizing and u have to eat alot to grow your muscles and make yourself have curvles and big butt to look good!. you should wait like 10 or 15 minutes before you eat after a workout!. My suggestion is take a shower right when you get home!. When you're done it'll be the perfect time to eat!.

You probably burned WAY MORE calories than 140!. Don't worry about it too much, do you expect to starve yourself after you work out!? No, your body needs energy to function!. At least you didn't go to Mc!. Donald's and eat a Big Mac!. That would mess it up ha ha!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok 1st off if ur 17 and u weigh 113 ur skinny , but it depends u cant eat toooo much u need 3 healthy meals a day with exercise thats what u need 2 do if uve already eaten 2 meals then its ok but not junk food , or u did exercising 4 nothing but u dont need 2 eat yr second meal and then 1 hour later eat ur dinner thats wat i mean good luck
