My mom wants to take me to the doctor for my fat stomach?!


Question: My mom wants to take me to the doctor for my fat stomach!?
The only part of me that is "fat" is my stomach!. It has been like that since I was born!. If I dont suck in and put the tape around my stomach its 35 inches!. Is that bad!? It gets bigger when I eat!. I dont want to go to the doctor for it!.!.!.thats dumb!. "Oh hey i'm fat!." What are they gonna do!? I'm 15 years old 5'7'' and weigh 135-140!. I walk 2 miles a day!.

you could probably do some ab workouts to help slim your stomach up such as crunches, leg raises, sit ups and so on!.

sometimes it may just be a little bloating!? try eating things higher in fiber, and less sodium, and drink more water!. this may help also!.

my stomach gets really "puffy" right before i get my period, so i cut out beans, and high sodium things like a week and a half before i'm "supposed" to get it!. and that helps a little for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example)!. In your hands hold a little dumbbell!. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it's parallel with the ground!. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position!. Repeat ten times!. Every week add
to the number of repetitions!. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles!. Dumbbells do wonders!. Much better than these crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL!. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week!.

You are the average weight!. All the doctor would do is put you on pills!. What you should do is go on one of those diet things, or go on one of your own!. Just remember to follow the food group chart! You should also go to the gym about 2-3 times a week! Good Luck!!!!! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to jog one of the miles you do instead!. And when you get home do about 100 crunches!. Try to eat less sugary foods and more vegetables! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dont sweat it! you are average! a fat stomache is nothing to worry about! but maybe some crunches or some pushups on a medicine ball! Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like your mother has body issues and she is taking them out on you!.

For your height, your weight is perfect!. Your stomach is probably "fat" because that is where your body stores it's weight!.

Many people carry their weight in their stomach!. It's something that you can not change!.

It's good that you are walking 2 miles per day!. It is good for overall health!. The average healthy person should aim for 3-5 days of cardio for at least 30 minutes at a time!.
In addition to cardio, strength training and flexibility should be performed 2-3 days per week!.
Eat a healthy diet of fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean protein, nuts & seeds, and the occasional treat!.
Exercise and a proper diet will lead to good health for life!.

You might want to let your mom take you to the doctor so that she can rest assured you are healthy and that it is normal to have a bit of belly fat!. Perhaps the doctor can show her pictures of perfectly healthy people with all types of body shapes!.

Just so you know, I have a FLAT stomach and at my waist (about an inch above the navel) its 31"!.
I'm 5'8" and weight 170 pounds!. I carry my weight in my legs, butt, and arms!.
It doesn't matter how much you weigh, its where you carry it that makes the difference!.
