I'm always hungry...?!

Question: I'm always hungry!.!.!.!?
!.!.!.because of my super fast metabolism!. I have to eat all the time, between my metabolism and participation in sports- marching band eight hours a week, the school soccer off season, and a rec soccer team on the side!.

I have to eat between breakfast and lunch, and again between lunch and dinner!. It's pretty much a pain during the school year because I can have snacks in some classes, but it's not like I can eat a full meal in the middle of class!.

Any suggestions for what I can do to not be perpetually hungry!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think maybe the practical solution here is "bloat" foods - foods that expand *after* eating them, especially if you drink fluids after meals!. Rice and popcorn are particular favorites of mine, but most grains fall into this category!. If you eat a bag of popcorn and then drink afterward, you will feel *much* more full an hour later than you do when you have finished eating!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep in mind that most people are dehydrated to some degree, and often your body (not your mind) misinterprets this as hunger!. The next time you get hungry and you've already had breakfast or whatever, drink a large glass of water!. You might be surprised!.

If that doesn't work, try drinking two glasses of milk per day!. Milk contains even more electrolytes and beneficial things an athlete like yourself needs than something like Gatorade, and you'll find yourself with more of the energy your body wants, without eating nonstop!.

If you still find yourself wanting to eat, try chewing gum!. The sweet flavor might tide you over until mealtime!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hunger feelings are sometimes caused by your bosy needing water!. Try drinking a big glass of water!. If you're still hungry in 10 minutes, have a snack!. Because you are so active, try to get as much protein as possible!. Smoothies with whey protein added, trail mix, even natural peanut butter with celery or crackers!. Tuna is packed with protein as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're hungry all the time it's because you either aren't eating enough or you're eating the wrong foods!. Why don't you try keeping a food log for a week or two which will help you can analyze your current diet!? You can print a free one here!.
