No motivation to lose weight - but motivation to be healthy?!

Question: No motivation to lose weight - but motivation to be healthy!?
I used to have an eating disorder that affected me from age 14-21!. I eventually didn't care about my weight anymore, and just wanted to eat three meals a day!. I gained weight, and when I was 23, lost most of the excess weight!. I kept it off until I reached 30!. I was diagnosed of having a mental illness, and took some medications that made me gain weight!. I gained more than 50 pounds!. I don't look obese, but carry some extra pounds I want to get rid of!. Before I turned 32, I went on a diet and lost all the weight I wanted!. But due to some emotional circumstances, I gained all the weight back!. I had a major delusion, and the psychiatrist gave me a powerful medication!. I believed that since then (around when I turned 33,) I gained weight again, and regardless of what I do, I can't lose weight!. I tried all sorts of diets, tried to be healthier with my eating habits, and I can't lose weight!. Had I been 25, I would have dropped at least 50 pounds!. But this didn't happen to me!. What I learned through this process was that I wanted to be healthy!. If I can drop weight to be in a healthy range, that would be great!. But if can't, then at least I want to lose my diet to include fish, grains, fruits and vegetables!. At this point, I am really not that happy about the way I look!. I can see my love handles, etc!.!.!. I lost my motivation to lose weight, but I don't like the way my body looks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I'm sorry to hear this has been a problem for you for a long time since I know how time consuming and well, LIFE consuming disturbed eating patterns can be!.!.!.
I really think you should see your doctor who will give you the best and educated answers!. I can tell you the obvious (to be healthy) but I'm sure you already know this:
drink lots of water instead of sodas etc
cut out junk food, chocolates crisps fried foods, fast foods etc!. No good for you and just make you feel sick and sh*t
Cut off any fat you see before you cook, say chicken breast of legs (its the white gooey bits)
eat a lot of fruit and veg (i personally love steamed vegetables from Asda- it has broccolli, carrots and sweetcorn in it)
take up some kind of activity!. perhaps join an evening fitness class!? dance class at your local gym!? or just be traditional and use exercise machines!? all of those ideas work wonders and if you make friends through it, it'll keep you motivated!.
Try not to concentrate on weight loss, but rather overall fitness because if you'll begin to look more toned and feel healthier and it may even help budge the weight that u can't get rid of at the moment!.

Good luck and if you need any help, just mail meWww@Answer-Health@Com
