What causes abdominal pain during situps?!

Question: What causes abdominal pain during situps!?
Just curious!.

I don't really know much about exercise and fitness so I was just wondering because I've been doing some situps and crunchs recently (don't usually do them)!.

It hurts your abs which is normal but what actually hurts them!?

Thanks in advance :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
This muscle pain is a normal response to unusual exertion and is part of an adaptation process that leads to greater stamina and strength as the muscles recover and build!. The pain is generally at its worst within the first 2 days following the activity and subsides over the next few days!.

Muscle soreness is quite common and quite annoying, particularly for those beginning an exercise program or adding new activities!. A beginning exerciser performing push-ups and sit-ups is likely to experience muscle pain and soreness in the next day or two!.

Examples of eccentric muscle contractions include going down stairs, running downhill, lowering weights and the downward motion of squats and push-ups!. In addition to small muscle tears there can be associated swelling in a muscle which may contribute to soreness!.

The build up of lactic acid in your muscles make them hurt which is good!. You should only experience this tightness the first month and it should go away unless you drastically increase the intensity of your workouts!. You can also flush the lactic acid out of you body if you do alot of aerobic activity, such as running!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are many ways to exercise your abs, even while standing!. If its hurting you, then you might be doing it wrong and need a trainer to teach you!. If you cant afford to get one, do other abs exercises!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

in biology when you work out it talks about ripping tissue(don't worry because it will rebuild or sumthing like that to so you can see muscle) and acid and stuff like thatWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yor abdomines are being strechted which makes them hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
