Answers:
There is a nice little machine that can measure your body fat!. I had mine tested at a health fair at a local university!. I told the woman my height, weight, etc!. and she put a band on my arm!. The little machine calculated everything!. BMI and percentage of body fat!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's far easier to have a professional do it, but it's understandable if you would like to avoid it!.!. you should take into account that part of being a professional would automatically imply that they don't judge you for any scars anyway!.!.!. however, to answer the original question, you can measure bodyfat on your own in one of two ways!.!. either get a specially designed gauge and do it yourself, probably available and sporting goods stores or health stores( this looks like a sort of a pipe wrench and will be able to give you an accurate reading of the fat percentage over your pectorals, stomach, quadriceps, etc, so you'll know what you want to work on), or for a less specific approach, most digital scales nowadays will give you a Bodyfat percentage reading, providing you with an overall figure as opposed to localized readings!.!.!.

on a separate note, you probably know this but it seems most people who're answering are in the dark, the BMI and the Body Fat Percentage are two entirely separate things!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go online to google and search your online BMI calculator!. this seriously works!. it will even tell you if your over/under weight!. this way, you dont lose too much weight!. iv done this and it really helps!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to your local supermarket, if they have a health section there will be a machine where you just grip the handles and that will tell you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are quite a few ways to measure your fat such as BMI, or waist to hip ratio etc just google it and you should see different formulas!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
