How important are protein supplements and creatine when working out? ?!

Question: How important are protein supplements and creatine when working out!? !?
I weigh 155 pounds and eat about 200 grams of protein a day!. After a workout I drink 350 ml of milk with a tablespoon dextrose and eat half a cup of dry TVP!. It's all slow release protein, I know!. That's why I need to know what benefits would come from drinking whey isolate over what I already do!. I just don't feel like spending a fortune on powder, do I really need it!? Answers:
They arn't remotely important!. If you get 1g protein/ lbs lean body weight/day, you have more than enough to build muscle!. Packing in more doesn't help, your body just can't use it!. Don't worry about 'slow release' or other junk like that!. All that matters is you get enough, and spread it out over the day!.

Creatine is essentially a easy access energy source for your body!. If you don't eat much red meat, taking supplemental creatine can (never actually been proven) help you do, say, that extra rep!. It will likely cause you to put on 2-3 lbs of water in the first week, which will balance out with a few pounds of new muscle over the following few months (again, assuming it works for you)!.

Neither is essential in any way to working out or building muscle, and both have be given way too much attention!. They can be useful, but they are not magic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ummm!. please disregard everything that first answerer said!. Creatine is not important, it is a choice!. Protien does not turn into fat!. Carbs can be stored and converted to fat, not protien!.
Protien is absolutely essential for increasing muscle mass!. Period!. Protien powder is the easiest, most convienient way I know of!. You already know more than most people just understanding the difference in slow and fast release protiens!. Try a fast release like whey just before or after your workout, and take your slow release before bed - that will keep the repairing and building going for many hours of the night!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unless you are a professional athlete who trains constantly, you do not need to consume larger amounts of protein!. No, you do not need to buy whey protein or any other type of supplement!. Excess protein simply gets stored by your body as fat, so you obviously don't want to overdo it!. Recommendations on the amount of protein you should get are about 10-15% of your daily calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

consuming extra protein to build muscles is a myth not to mention a scam!!! eating more protein than your body requires will only be converted into fat!. protein itself is not an energy source it is just necessary on a molecular level to allow your muscles to function!. focus on a healthy diet that includes a balance of all the food groupsWww@Answer-Health@Com
