Working out and eating healthy?!

Question: Working out and eating healthy!?
I am breastfeeding, eating about 2,000 calories a day, working out for 45-60 min 5 days a week and i have not lost a pound!. I did this all last week and it seems i would loose at least a pound!. What do you think I am doing wrong!? Should I just give it more time!? I have birth 4 weeks ago and i have lost about 16lbs so far!. I need to lose another 15 i'm trying to get down lower than i was pre baby!. ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Continue doing what your doing, dont lower your calories anymore!. Your body is a complex system, it will do it when its ready!. Your body may not want to drop down lower then you were pre-baby so it may maintain at its own "healthy" weight!. If you have already lost weight that is great! Usually during weight loss it slows down at times, maybe your at a slow point, just give it time!. Keep working and good luck! i know its hard (=Www@Answer-Health@Com

Perhaps it's the fact that you are eating 2,000 calories a day but your workout is not enough to be able to burn fat!. I'm also losing weight and I eat less than 2,000 calories!. That might not be a good thing, but I also take sports supplements like a multivitamin to get the vitamins and minerals that I'm lacking by not eating a lot!. I eat 6 times a day, 3 big meals and 3 small meals!. It keeps the metabolism going and continue to burn calories!. I also run for about 20 minutes and 7 hours later I do weight training!. You need that time gap if you're going to run and lift on the same day!.

I used to play sports so high intensity training is what helped me lose almost over 4lbs a week!. Most likely you wouldn't want to go through the high intensity workout and might want to lose weight at a slower pace!. I'm sure there are many programs for that!.

But that's just the weight loss part!. I don't know if nutrition has an effect on breast milk and I wouldn't want it to effect your child!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take your time

Breast feeding and the associated hormones really mess about with the way that the body handles both its metabolism and its fluid balance!.

Trying to push too hard for weight loss when you are breast feeding is counterproductive and you'll just get despondent!. Keep doing what you are doing and the weight will just drop off when you decide to stop breast feeding!.
