Question: I have two questions about working out!?

2!. Is it better to work out in the morning or night!? i always see people jogging at the crack of dawn!. why not at night!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
1!. Its good to eat before and after!. Best to eat carbs before and protein after, especially if you are using weights!. I try and eat something like a cereal bar or a few oatcakes about 45mins before working out and then a handful of nuts after, if I'm on the move!.
2!. Some people say its better to work out in the morning because it sets you up for the day and gives you lots of energy, personally if I get the chance I like to workout after breakfast but because of work etc!. it sometimes not possible!. It really doesn't make much difference when you workout though, your still burning calories and getting fitter, but its not a good idea to workout before bed because it can mess with your sleeping!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First thing, if you eat, you are way more likely to get sick!.
If you are building muscle, eating high protein and calorie snacks is good, it gives you temporary energy boost for about an hour, which allows you to work out your muscles more thoroughly!. Eat about 50-100 g of protein powder afterwards!.
If you want to burn fat, you are only going to be burning what you just ate, so dont eat!. You will have noticeably less energy, but thats because you can only get about half as much energy from your fat as from your glucose reserves!. Drinking water is good, it regulates the PH of your blood, which is helpful because your body relies on the ph difference between your cells and the surrounding fluids for energy (the ph difference is potential energy)!. After working out a lot or eating acidic foods, the ph levels are more acidic, so your cells are reduced in efficiency!.
People work out in the morning for two reasons, first, to get your heart going for a productive day, and secondly because running is an antidepressant, and keeps your head in the right place!.
You can really work out any time though, it will have the same effect as long as you do the same thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) Both before and after!. This can, in the end, make your workout more effective, though it sounds counter-intuitive!. Have some simple carbs before-hand to give your body a quick burst of energy, and a good source of protein afterwords to help rebuild and repair muscle tissue!. But of course, do what works best for your body!. Not everyone does their best this way!.

2) Whatever works for you!. If you aren't a morning person, you are not going to exercise in the morning!. There are a lot of health benefits to working out in the morning (you are more likely to be consistent because nothing will get in your way), it wakes you up and gives you energy for the day, etc!. Working out at night also causes some people to have a hard time falling asleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best time to do cardio exercises (running, swimming etc!.) is right in the morning as soon as you wake before you have breakfast, your body goes straight to fat for an energy source!. Which is why you will see large amounts of people running/jogging at the crack of dawn!.

I would guess that eating after a work out is more likely better than eating before hand, being properly hydrated is definitely important, so as long as he is drinking water, that's good!.

If he's trying to build muscle, he should be eating 5 or 6 smaller meals throughout the deal as apposed to 3 main meals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is good to eat both before and after -- A small snack about 90 minutes before exercise is good because it will keep you from getting hungry and raise your blood sugar!. Eating an hour or less before your workout is detrimental because it sends bloodflow away from your muscles and to your stomach to digest the food!. You have a small window after exercise in which you then need to eat again for recovery!.

It is all right to workout at either time -- it's just a personal preference!. A lot of people like to run in the morning to wake up or get their day started, while others like to run to wind down their day!. Fitness classes are held both morning or night!. It's up to you, some people feel more energetic at one time or another!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

eating before a workout isnt as necessarry, although it depends on the trainers expectations as far as weight gain-mass, or weight loss-cutting up!. it is important to eat after to replenish your muscles and keep them growing, and eating before-if you do it should be done atleast an hour before!.

i believe working out at night is more beneficial cause you use the days calorie intake as energy and burn them off, how much depends on the intensity of the workout and how long they work out!. morning is great too especially if your the type of person that hasa trouble concentraining in the morning, lacks drive or even if your depressed-theres no better medication than to go into the gym and work out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. You need to eat some form of low glycemic carb - meaning one that supplies energy at a constant rate!. This way you can put more into your workout to get the best results!. Not eating will deplete your energy sooner and you can't give it 100% effort!. I usually just have a banana or yogurt!. Afterward, you need a good meal of carbs and protein!.

2!. Doesn't matter - just whenever you have more energy or time!. I used to prefer mornings because I felt energized all day!. But now I drive the kids to school, so it's later in the day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. better to eat after a workout, our bodies have enough energy stored to make it through the workout!. eating after replenishes the body's supply of proteins, carbs, and vitamins to help rebuild muscle ripped during the workout which leads to increased muscle strength and size!.

2!. personal preference!. one thing to keep in mind though is that your digestive system slows while sleeping so if you work out late at night, then eat following your workout then go to bed within an hour, your body will not process the food as well, nor rebuild your muscles as quicklyWww@Answer-Health@Com

1!. To eat before you go to the gym is the best you need it to build stamina and to give you energy!. I normaly drink my supplements before and after a training session!.
