I feel like I weigh too much? ?!


Question: I feel like I weigh too much!? !?
I'm 16, 5'4" or 5'5", and weight about 125-127 lbs!.!.!. My bone frame is narrow/medium-small!. I hate my thighs and stomach!.!.!. I realize I don't need to lose a lot of weight or anything, but 5, 10 lbs might be good!. How can I go about doing this in a healthy way!? What can I do to help get in shape!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its always good to stay healthy and maintain a good diet!.

You are 16 and that is a great time to start working towards a healthy lifestyle, and healthy habits!.

Try and limit your soda intake, as well as junk food!. Only allow yourself to eat fast food once a week, and try and do the same for sodas!. That way you will be in a good habit when your metabolism slows in a few years! It will also help you get the weight off your stomach, since you mentioned that's one of the "struggle areas!."

Also, start exercising, even if only twice a week!. Do 45 minutes a day, 20 of cardio, and 25 of strength training and toning!. Take up yoga, or something that you enjoy doing!. It is always good to have an active hobby, so whether it's tennis, basketball, hiking, swimming, etc, you are going to have a good time, and be working towards something!.

Don't worry too much about the 5 or 10 pounds, you are at a healthy weight!. But you do want to also have a healthy heart, and an able body, so working on those things isn't a bad idea!. It will help you a lot in your later life too!

okay I am your same height and have the same problem my stomach and thighs!. You want to stop drinking soda and eating sweets, if you need something sweet take a little fruit juice and mix in carbonated water and thats a sweet treat and also eat fruit and make sure you eat the right sizing for all portions!. I noticed when i did that and went for a walk every day I lost the weight in those areas and kept it off till I got back into sweets!. I hope I helped some!Www@Answer-Health@Com

DO NOT start dieting over 5lbs that you probably do not even need to lose because if you do it could have the oppisite effect!. Just start exercising at least 4 times a week!. Keep it simple!. and stay on track with it and you will tone everything up!. GOOD LUCKWww@Answer-Health@Com
