How long to work out?!


Question: How long to work out!?
So I recently got a gym membership and want to start exercising but i'm not sure how often to go!. I am 18 and 165 pounds and want to lose 15-20 pounds by December 20th!. If I want to do so, how often and for how long do you think I should go to the gym (when I go, I mainly do the treadmill or the elliptical) if I want to lose that much weight by Christmas time!? Answers:
You should work out at least half an hour for three days a week!. This is minimal and for loosing weight you should bump that up to 5 days a week and up to an hour a day if possible!.

Also, make sure you keep a healthy food intake!.!.!.exercise alone will not help as much!. When you do exercise, try to do different activities to give your muscles options!.!.!.for example, 20 minutes on the elliptical, 20 minutes free weights, 20 minutes stretching/cooling down/floor exercise (push-ups, crunches, etc)!.

Check out a site like the one below for help from people in a similar position!.

Finally, healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week so you may want to consider that you only have 12 weeks until the 20th!.

Losing weight can be tough , but it is such a worthy accomplishment

I needed to lose some weight too for health reasons and I began searching on the Internet!. I came across http://healthcrib!.com/Weight-Loss/!. They recommended a few products in their weight loss section and I ended up getting the first one!. I had my doctor look at the product and he said that it looked pretty healthy and he approved!. According to Bob Greene,you should work out and do aerobics almost everyday except one day that's six times a week for the aerobics!. So if you really want to lose weight that fast i suggest you get cracking now for the next twelve weeks and your workout should be an hour long with no entertaining yourself in between!.

They say to get your heart rate up a little for about 40 min 3-5 times a week and this will really help you to see results!.

I like to go to the gym for about 1-1!.5 hours 5 days a week!. Sometimes I walk and do the mike, sometimes I jog a little nad lift!.!. the main thing is to get moving and to do different things so you don't get bored!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

3 - 4 times a week if you want to see a big improvement by end of December!.
