Protein before workout?!


Question: Protein before workout!?
how much protein should i be taking in before a workout!? I lift twice a day for 2 hours each and run three miles in the morning and three at night but have never taken supplements!. I just went out and bought multivitamins and protein powder so i need to know!. thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

1 scoop about 30 grams!. I weigh 150 pounds so daily i need to take 150 grams of protein!. Also do not forget, when you eat meat, beans etc you get some protein, so taking 3 or 4 scoop will be enough for the day!. You should read the directions for mixing the protein powder!. There should be some kind of directions on the label!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there would be instructions on the bottle/box of whatever you're taking!. but after a workout have protien b/c it builds up muscles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Drink it after a workout!. You also sound like you are overtraining, dial it down a bit!. Muscles need rest to grow so dont over train them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
