How much longer before I see physical results?!

Question: How much longer before I see physical results!?
I've been power-walking almost everyday for a month now and have yet to see physical results!. Everyday, I only eat breakfast and dinner on a saucer (for small portion of food)!. I've been drinking milk plus lots of water and eating only veggies with soup and if I bite on snacks or fattening stuff I go bulimic!.

I power-walk and do short runs 30mins prior breakfast for an hour and 30mins after dinner for also an hour!. (Although, sometimes I skip the morning exercise)

Where am i doing wrong here!? I've lost almost 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks but my guess they're all just shitty loads because now I'm not losing anymore pounds!.

I want to see physical change and not just whats on the scale!.

Body weight is 220 pounds!.
Height 5!.6 feet!. (Yes, I'm overweight)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hiya
That's great to see that you're watching what you eat, and that you're eating healthy, while following a exercise plan!

You should be seeing results already, provided that your calories eaten don't exceed your calories burned!.

After a bit of googling, here's some stuff that might help!
(Your Basal Metabolic Rate based on ht/wt: 2100 Calories, just to stay alive!.

And here's the calories that you burn through your exercises, based on your weight:
Walking 3 mph= 218 calories in 30 minutes
Walking 4 mph= 257 calories in 30 minutes
Running 5 mph= 422 calories in 30 minutes
Running 6 mph= 502 calories in 30 minutes
Running 7 mph= 574 calories in 30 minutes

So, assuming that you're eating somewhere near your BMR, you should be losing weight!.

But here's some tips that you really should follow!.
You said that you ONLY eat breakfast and dinner, that's bad!. Breakfast and dinner are several hours apart, and your body will feel starved in between!. So in order to counter-act the waiting period, your body slows down its metabolism, in order to preserve body fat!. In reality, your basal metabolic rate may go down to 1600~ calories if you keep that up!. That means!.!. EAT A LUNCH! and EAT FREQUENTLY, but in smaller portions!. Dinner should be your smallest meal, because it is eaten near the time you will rest, and you don't want a heavy dinner that is completely stored as fat, since you'll be the least active while sleeping!. I personally eat around!.!. 8 meals a day, and only totalling to 1700~ calories!. Each meal is quite small, but it can keep my hunger at bay till my next meal!.

As for your diet, water and vegetables are good, but keep in mind, you WANT to have a diet that consists of fats (yes you need this), carbohydrates, and protein! Protein should be the main contributor to your intake of calories because it helps make up for any lean body mass lost, and you need it to build muscle!.

Lastlyyyy!. 10 Pounds in 2 weeks is absofuckingamazing!. That's nearly 1 pound of fat a day, but that's pretty much impossible too!. Sorry to burst your bubble, but some of it has to be water weight!. My advice is to ignore the scale!. It won't help you THAT much but provide a very very rough guideline to your weight loss program!. If you're exercising everyday, you'll lose weight while gaining muscle, and since muscle weighs more than fat, even if you lose 5 pounds of fat, you could be gaining 3 pounds of muscle, which only shows 2 pounds "lost" on the scale!.

Like you said, you wanna see physical change, so look at the mirror!. Keep in mind, the body loses fat from the last places first!. (Your body FIRST stores fat in the belly region, because of evolutionary advantages that I won't go in to!.) So don't expect to "see" a six pack very quickly!. DO expect to see your body slowly thinning out and showing more muscle definition, especially around your legs and chest!.

I hope this helped! And good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

You will continue to see change, but you have to be patient!. Make sure you are eating enough calories, because as strange as it may sound, it will be harder to lose if you are not eating enough!. At your current weight, you should probably be consuming at least 1800 calories a day, and you will lose weight!. Also, you should eat at least 6 times a day, small meals more often!. To see even more physical changes, start a weight lifting routine!. It is the best way to see physical changes!. Join a gym, or invest in a good weight training book!. The Dummies series actually has quite a good one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
