Hi, Yes you can, but it would only be a very tiny amount and can easily be offset by eating something, you will have to have an intake of less calories than you are burning off to lose weight!.

But unfortunately it is a lot more complicated than that, dieting is a waste of time, it can actually have the opposite effect because your body will assume that it is in a famine situation and will actually store unneeded fat for the expected starvation (as it assumes) and at first you will appear to be losing weigh but then you will just pile it on and it becomes even harder to get rid of!.

The best way to lose weight is to eat a healthy diet of natural foods in small amounts (eat four of five small meals per day instead of 1 or 2) that way you body will grow to trust that there is going to be adequate food and will not try storing it up, combine that with a healthy exercise regime, in fact walking in the open air (daytime) is the best you only need to walk at least 1 mile per day, more is better, take it slowly at first, then walk more briskly!.

You need to remove a lot of toxins from the body to help it maintain itself, the best way I have found is the Water Cure (By Dr!. F!. Batmanghelidj) it only requires you to drink 2Liters of tap (or filtered) water with half a teaspoon of sea salt (100% Natural) added, drink it throughout the day e!.g!. take 2 x 8oz(250ml) glasses half hour before breakfast then the rest through the day, drink it back quickly, don't just sip it over time!.

You will need to quit taking Coffee and Tea (Herbal is ok) or anything with caffeine as it acts as a diuretic and will decrease the effectiveness of the water cure, alcohol has this effect also so if you can quit it too, it is WELL WORTH IT!.

Get his book or borrow it from library its called 'The Body's Many Cries For Water' you will be amazed at the results within a couple of Weeks!.

Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just stretching your calves won't do much!. Whatever you do it needs to involved a whole body approach - don't just try and target one area!.

Some forms of yoga (Ashtanga, Vinyasa etc!.) will help boost your metabolism and increase fat burning, but you have to be consistent and spend long periods of time doing it, e!.g!. 1hr plus!.

If you want quick results (in a less than a month), you need to do more intense forms of exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no stretching doesnt tear your muscle fibers!.
which means your body doesnt work to repair itself!.
you need to actually workout!.
if we could loose weight by just stretching nobody on earth would be over weight!.

good question though!.

o and when your muscle fibers tear when your exercising your body repair those fibers by burning fat and proteins to enhance the muscle and surrounding areas, also being to tone the area of desire exercise!.

good luck !Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, but it sounds like you'd appreciate pilates or yoga!. I love alternating workouts, these will combine stretches and movements to work the body to gain lean muscles!.

And it makes you feel great, very invigorating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will help with toning, but not with losing any actual weight!. Any kind of movement or even sitting still will produce calorie loss, but toning alone will not produce weight loss!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
