Question: Can someone please explain this, weight loss experts and/or personal trainers!?
Ok, I have never watched this show before and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about and so I watched "The Biggest Loser" last night!. BTW those who haven't seen it, you have to check it out even one episode!. My first question is how did they lose 15-20 pounds in one week!? One person even loss 28 pounds in a week!. The show states the contestants health status are tailored specifically for their own weigh loss program!. So that tells me they have professional medical, nutritionists, and exercise trainers on hand!. These people are losing weight very fast!. So why does everyone state that losing weight fast is bad for you!? This show seems to be promoting it!. I kept telling myself there is no way they lost that much weight in a week, may be 2 weeks but a week come on! So can I just call it TV or is it really true!? If it is true, shoot! how can I get on this diet!? I have about 40 pounds to lose!. Thanks ahead of time!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Follow the diet I recommended you, I've never seen this show, although I have heard about it!. It really is unhealthy to lose weight so fast; if there was actually a healthy method of losing weight that fast, many people would know about it!.

I don't know what "professionals and nutritionists" they have, but they are either giving them incorrect advice, or doing the diet for a limited amount of time, I don't know, but it isn't healthy to lose more than 1-2 pounds a week, if it were, the method would be extremely popular and well-known!.

The only methods of achieving such fast weight loss are from fad diets, which are based around lack of knowledge, and starving yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Proffesional MMA fighters lose weight quickly as well, but they lose water weight!. To actually take off fat, it takes longer!. If you have nothing to do all day but train and have meals prepared for you then you will lose it quicker, but for those of us that are not proffesional atheletes, being sponsered by a reality tv show, or a millionaire, it is unreasonable to think you can achieve those weight loss results ( taking actual fat off, not water weight) in a healthy and consistant way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Loosing weight quickly is not bad for someone if they are getting all of the nutrients they need!. There is no crash dieting going on in this show!. Basically, they are being taught something they never learned but should have!.
The body is designed to take care of itself!. Your stomach is the size of the palm of your hand so if ever you eat more food in one sitting than fits in your hand, you are overeating!.
Begin your day with oatmeal, it will stay with you longer throughout the day!. Eat 3 nutritional meals a day, spread throughout the day!. Don't let your stomach feel too hungry or you'll overeat and feel stuffed and miserable!.
Everything you do eat, eat it very slow and chew every bite very slow and savor every flavor!. Don't ever gulp anything down!.
Don't ever eat anything for 3 hours before you go to sleep because your body goes into a fix mode as soon as you fall asleep and that includes fat burning!.
Take a good multivitamin, B-complex and Chromium Picolinate to aid in cravings and the processing of sugars!.
Don't drink sodas which have no nutritional value what-so-ever and don't consume caffeine!. Caffeine raises your blood pressure and your body slows the metabolism to compensate!.
Don't forget to play!. Run, skip, jump a rope, swing, swim, play ball and dance, dance, dance!.
Eating slow is the way to eat!. It should take you 45 min to 1 hour just to eat a dinner the size of your palm and you'll stay fuller longer because that in itself speeds your metabolism!.

overweight, usually when a person is overly overweight and there is a
risk of a heart attack!. Then doctors choose the lesser evil - quick
weight loss!. As for the show, first, it's a show, so it's bound to be
spectacular!. Then, they have doctors to supervise them and the people are of that category when it's advisable to lose asap anyway!. Do not get on this diet on your own, and being not that much overweight, without a doctor to screen you regularly!. You may die! Or, you will end with excess skin - with the skin flapping around your bones, and your bone frame being encased in a sack of your own skin! That is not pretty, and can be fixed only by a surgery!. Why do you need it, what is the hurry!? Go slowly, in a normal pace - you are not on a show!. Be nicer to your body, cherish it, and it will serve you longer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
