Question: I eat soo much now for some reason, is this why!?
Hey guys,
I usually eat about 1200-1400 calories a day and i lost more than 40 LB in last 6-7 months doing so, I've been jogging for 30 mins three times a day and about a month ago, i added lifting some weights!. I curl 30lb, Bench press, and Chest Flies!.
I do these three work outs on the same day of 10 repts of 3 sets!. I did start to notice my chest muscles and my arms getting bigger!.
I weigh 170LB 5,10 but for a week or so, I've been getting REALLY hungry around late afternoon!. Like I keep wanting to eat now, This never happend to be before, and i'm scared this is ruining my workout plan!.

Is my workout plan alright!? I'm not trying to get big or anything, just doing it so i maintain my muscle mass and not loose it while i jog!. three times a day!.
I do these with 30LB of dumbells!. Is the weight i'm lifting good for a beginner!?

This is perfectly normal! Your muscles are growing and therefore your body needs more nourishment to maintain them!. Think of the hunger as a way for your body to tell you what it needs!. Just make sure you're eating the right things, for starters, as an active person you should be taking in a minimum of !.8 grams of protein per pound you weight to 1!.2 grams of protein (136 grams - 204 grams in your case)!. I know it seems like a lot, but just a little bit more protein than normal can help!.
Also make sure you eat more fiber just to keep you feeling full longer!. If you're getting very hungry by afternoon, that could mean that you're expending your energy supply (carbs, protein, etc!.) in your bloodstream, replenish them with a small snack throughout the day (a fruit or a low-fat snack bar etc!.) just to make sure you never get really hungry, since that can be detrimental to your workout plan!.
Ultimately though, as a beginner, you are doing very well, I love your determination, and I'm sure with time you'll come to figure out what is right or wrong for your body and your plan, just make sure you analyze frequently!. Keep up the good work, and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gasp!. You're so determined!. You could climb any mountain with that kinda determination!.

While I don't know a lick about weights and whatnot, I'd say you're doing wonderfully!. And males do have a higher metabolism than females!. I think you could eat much more than 1400 calories and not worry about a thing!.
