Question: Please help me sort out my eating patterns!!!?
I am a healthy 28 year old woman, but have had 'eating problems' for a number of years!.
Currently, i have got into a bad habit, where i dont eat until 5pm (dinner time), and then after eating my dinner, i just cant stop eating!
As soon as i have eaten my dinner, all i want to do is eat!
I dont eat breakfast, lunch, or anything at all until 5pm!.!.!.!.but i think that the calories i eat including dinner and all the crap in the evening (it tends to be all junk foods!.!.sweets/crisps/chocolate etc), totals abot 1000 calories!.
So, 1000 is fine to eat per day, but is the reason that i'm not losing weight because i eat the whole 1000 cals in the evening!?

i know its not good!.!.!.please help me to start eating properly during the day!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I think it's the reason- here's the story: eating breakfast is "the most important meal of the day" because you work and are active the rest of the day!. If you eat breakfast and an early lunch, you will have all day to burn off those calories!. Dinner's not even that important because you will just end up sleeping a few hours later, or at least relaxing, probably not being active, so you won''t burn many of the calories you ate!.

Breakfast every morning = eat calories, burn most of them
eating only at night = maybe burning some calories during the day, but storing almost all of the calories you eat at 5 as you relax or sleep!. the more time is spent between eating and exercising, the less benefit you will get from the exercising!.

Try having a big breakfast, like eggs, fruit juice, a banana and toast in the morning, then you might not even be that hungry later, and if you are, it's okay, because you will have burned a lot of the breakfast calories already!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Think about it logically, food is fuel for your body, if you eat most in the morning then you are using the fuel up during the day!. If you only eat late in the day you are using up reserves during the day and the junk you eat later is being left distributed around your body as fat!.
Fat is an awful lot harder to shift than the lean stuff YOU are using up during the day!.
So you really are turning your diet into a complete waste of time!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The thing is when you have something sweet your body urges you to have more of the sweet item, you should have breakfast,lunch and dinner because its not good to not eat the most important meal of the day which is breakfast and then miss out lunch then stuff yourself with dinner and junk food! my advice is to eat all the meals of the day but keep yourself away from sweet things such as junk food!. its not good for you or your body and definitely not for your weight!. These are actually true facts and it will help you lose weight-try Kellogg's for breakfast-something light for lunch-and maybe something a tiny bit heavier for dinner-and if you think you can handle it then have maybe a Chockie for dessert for lunch! good luck-x-this is actually true we learn about it inschool'sm 13Www@Answer-Health@Com
