How can I gain muscle/weight?!


Question: How can I gain muscle/weight!?
Hey,

I'm currently 17 and a senior in High School, I weight only about 115lbs, and I really want to gain some weight and muscle, I have a very fast metabolism, and with everyone paying attention to losing weight It's sort of hard to find out ways to gain weight!.

Does anyone know of any ways to gain weight and build muscle relatively quickly!?

Hey Rob,

Wow, a lot of these answers to your question were way off, so I thought I'd peek my head in and get you on the right path!.

First and foremost, you're gonna want to step up your diet!. And when I mean step up, I mean eating every 2-3 hours, especially if you have a fast metabolism!. Here's an example of what I eat in a day:

6AM/6!.5AM -
Protein Shake
Egg Beaters
Banana
Ezekiel Bread
Multivitamin (1 tablet)

9AM -
1 Chicken Breast
Almonds (1 cap full)
Fish Oil (2 tablets)

12PM -
Fish/Brown Rice
Multivitamin (1 tablet)

3PM -
Protein Shake
Multivitamin (1 tablet)

6PM -
Pre-Workout
Protein Shake
Almonds (1 cap full)

Vasocharge
Incarnate

7PM - Workout

9PM -
Steak (Mainly, sometimes Chicken, on rest days)
Baked Potato
Green Vegetable
Almonds (2 caps full)
Fruit (Any)

11PM -
Night Time Protein Shake

As you can see, it's quite a bunch of food, mainly high in protein!. A similar plan would be ideal for you, since you're doing your best to put on mass!.

Next, for your training, it would be a good idea to split your body parts up, on different days!. Here's an example of my training split:

Monday - Chest
Incline DB's
Cable Crossovers (Low, Med, High)
Flat DB's
Decline DB's
Rope Pulldowns
Seated Calf Raises
Forearms (Wrist Curls)
Abs

Tuesday - Back/Traps
Lat Pulldowns
One Arm DB Rows
Rowing Piece Lat Pull Down
Seated Cable Rows

Barbell Shrugs
Shrugs Macine

Wednesday - Off

Thursday - Legs
Squats
Seated Calf
Straight Leg Deadlifts
Reverse Curls (Hamstrings)
Standing Calf
Leg Extension
Abs

Friday - Arms
Standing Barbell Curl
Tricep Pulldowns
Incline DB Curls
Skull Crushers
Reverse Curls (Bi and Forearm)
On Arm Overhead Extension

Saturday - Shoulders
Front DB Raise
DB Military Press
Side DB Raise
Reverse Pec Dec
Seated Calf Raises
Abs

Sunday - Off

You may need to tone it down a bit, if you're just starting out, but that's a nice, simple, but thorough example of different exercises to use for different parts of your body!.

Other then that, drink approximately a gallon of water a day, get 8 hours of sleep a night, and you'll be on your way in no time man!

I'm not sure about how quickly this works, but I use CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) pills with Tonalin!. They help build muscle, and help shrink fat cells!. It is really supposed to help people lose weight, which sounds like it is not what you need, but there's more to it!. I lost some weight at first and then plateaued, but my body shape began to become more toned and I felt much stronger!. This is of course paired with regular exercise and a general low carb diet (it is what works for me)!. I'm sure the right diet for you is much different seeing as how you are a young man!. The pills can be bought at the grocery store where they sell vitamins or online!. For a small bottle at HEB or WAl-Mart approx!. $13(!?) No negative side effects thus far!. muscle weighs much more than fat!.

I would suggest using an intense weight training progam and eating lots of protein!.

Start playing counter strike and you can kill lots of people and you will feel like you are very powerfull, even you wont be, thats not important!.

Protein shakes are the fastest, easiest and tastiest route my friend!. Just make sure you do some lifting so it doesn't turn to fat!Www@Answer-Health@Com

drink protein shakes eat lots of meat/carbs
work out a lot not running but bicep excercises or chest lik benchpress
