Is it ok to cheat on a diet once a week?!


Question: Is it ok to cheat on a diet once a week!?
I've been on a very strict diet, and i mean strict (egg whites in the morning, salad and tuna for lunch, vegetables for snacks, dinner is either fish or chicken with more salad, and no eating after 6pm) and I'm dying for normal food!. I don't want to ruin my diet, because weight loss is my goal right now, so just wondering if once a week cheating would be okay!? Please help!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it is okay for more than one reason!. first of all, if you have at least one cheat meal a week, i would do a whole day, your body will be less likely to feel deprived!. it would be easier to stick to your diet during the week and resist tempting food if you knew!.!.!.!."well i can have that on saturday"!.!.!.!.secondly, it will keep your metabolism guessing!. if you haven't heard of calorie shifting, i would suggest reading about it!. theoretically, your body gets use to a certain amount of calories consumed a day and your metabolism adjusts to this number!. if you ate 2000 calories one day, the next day your body will think you will do the same but say you don't!.!.!.!.!.you end up losing weight faster this way!. so don't worry have that piece of cake! as long as you are watching your portion size, cheating will actually help you lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Look,if losing weight was a matter of eating less then why doesn't everyone just eat less/exercise more!?!.The more hungry you get the less you will succeed,carbs not calories are the problem!.Whats this nonsense about eating after six as well,what about 6:05 or 6:35 would that ruin everything!?during the night your body will start to say "oh no,no food,I will store some fat in case I don't get fed again"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've read about different diets and one had a "cheat meal" that you could have every week!.
They would eat healthy meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, but they could choose one meal (it could be breakfast, lunch, or dinner) each week where they could eat whatever they wanted!.

I think you would be okay as long as you don't go overboard and scarf down like a whole pizza!.

yea, it's actually might help your diet if you switch things up once in a while!. But when you "cheat" make sure you don't eat considerably more than you normally do or you might trigger cravings!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh, you must cheat once a week, or else it would be torture! Eat what you like on your cheat day, just eat limited portions!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course it's OK!. It will help you not to go insane!. Your body is probably crying out for some carbs!. Just don't go insane on the junk food or anything LOL!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
