I know this is a mental disorder with physical effects/symptoms but if a little girl in africa was dying from starvation would you say she is anorexic or would you say she is extremely underweight!. I would have thought she would be classified as underweight but a few weeks ago i went on a website which used the term anorexic for people who weren't getting enough calories whatever the reason so now im confused!.!.!.

No, a starving African girl does not have anorexia! Anorexia a mental disorder in which the victim INDUCES starvation on themselves!. Therefore, a girl in Africa who isn't able to require enough food to stay healthy and alive is not anorexic!. She's just underweight because of the situation she is in!. Anorexia comes from within!.
