Question: Doctor says i need to cut caffeine out of my diet, is decaf coffee ok !?
I am very attached to my morning cup of coffee but my doctor said i cannot have any caffeine in my diet anymore due to high blood pressure problems!.

Will decaf coffee be fine or does it have a small percent of caffeine in it like non alcoholic beer having !.5 percent for an example !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Some brands have teeny, tiny amounts!. Less than 5 milligrams, completely harmless!. So enjoy your decaf!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sorry to hear about your health issues!.

Decaf has trace amounts of caffeine, but not enough to affect your blood pressure!. At least 97% of the caffeine has to be removed in order to label the coffee as decaf!.

BTW, non-alcoholic beer doesn't have !.5 % alcohol, but this is the lowest amount they are legally allowed to advertise as having, if they have any trace of alcohol at all!. In other words, if they have !.1% alcohol, they still have to advertise as "less than !.5% alcohol" by law!.

Also, decaf coffee has its own health risks!. Don't have more than one or two cups per day!. Decaf has been shown to increase levels of LDL cholesterol when people have 4 or more cups per day!.

One final note, recent studies suggest that any link between coffee and high blood pressure is slight at best!.
