How would i go about losing weight?!


Question: How would i go about losing weight!?
I am 17 and i am 5"3'!. I weigh about 170 pounds!. Me and my sister are going to be getting a membership to the YMCA soon!. I live right up the street from one!. So how often should i go to the YMCA!? And what kind of workouts should i do!? My aunt makes most of our food homemade and most of it is healthy!. At the moment i skip breakfast & lunch!. I eat a snack when i get home, Eat dinner, and then have a bedtime snack!. I want to definitely lose 40 pounds by May 2010!. Is that possible!? Because that is when i will graduate!. And if i stick to working out with your schedule you suggest how much weight do you think i will lose by August 2009!? My Sister is getting married and i will be wearing a dress so i want to lose weight for that also!. Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, skipping breakfast and lunch will not help!. In fact, it will make your body store the food it is given at dinner to help cover for your body when you skip those meals!. If you aren't a breakfast person I understand!. My brother is the same way so he eats a powerbar/granola bar or grabs an apple!. Try doing that other than skipping breakfast all together!. Same with lunch, just nibble on a healthy snack!.

I am a firm believer that you don't need a "diet" to lose weight!. All you need is willpower!. Try first cutting soda from your diet, if you drink it!. Once you have gone so long without soda, cut away all the chips!. After that, cut away the cookies and so on until everything you eat is healthy!. The pounds will drop like that!.

I also believe it's okay to eat what you love in moderation!. While you are on your journey to lose weight it's okay to sample a peice of cake or have a cookie on the weekends but be sure to excercise after you do and don't just sit!.

That's another key part, excercise!. Every day try to so something active whether it be walking home from school or riding your bike around the block!. Be sure to excercise at least a half hour a day even on the days you aren't at the YMCA!.

If you do those simple things 40 pound by May 2010 is possible!. Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
