Question: How long does it take for a groin muscle injury to heal!?
Answers:
Hey, Prof:
Are you absolutely sure that you do have a groin injury!? It is easy to attribute your pain to something you have been doing at the gym, since I already know that you are a bodybuilder!. Perhaps you should have your own doctor check this out since some guys get groin pain from testicular inflammation or prostatic inflammation both of which are very common in your age group!. I always worry about an otherwise healthy guy having a testicular tumour as well!.
I am not trying to drum up business for your doctor but you should have this groin muscle injury confirmed as the cause of your pain by the doctor!.
If it is a groin injury strain, the thing can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months to heal!. If you review with your trainer what you have been doing at the gym to have aggravated things, the exercise and weight lifting program can be tailored to fit the problem!. As always resting the injured area, applying ice and having a stretching program designed for you will help immensely as will, anti-inflammatory drugs, physiotherapy and other modalities!.
I do hope that you will see your doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com

From http://www!.revolutionhealth!.com/healthy-!.!.!.

"Rest and protect an injured or sore groin area for 1 to 2 weeks!. Stop, change, or take a break from any activity that may be causing your pain or soreness!. Do not do intense activities while you still have pain!. A pulled muscle (strain) in the groin can take several weeks to heal!."Www@Answer-Health@Com
