ummmm i am 5'1 ,179 lbs and i am only 15!.!.!.!.!.just need to know if i need to seriously lose weight!.!.!.and i need to know ways howWww@Answer-Health@Com

OK people keep in mind only 8% of America is under 140 lb's which is considered healthy for 5'2 and up

You don't need to SERIOUSLY lose weight, but I will tell you know that you should pick up some health eating habits and exercise routine (aka eat your full serving of veggies and passably take a 45-60 walk/jog/bike ever day) because after you hit your twenty's your body will make it harder for you to lose any extra weight you don't like

at 15 179 is a little high but you have to make sure you are happy with yourself inside and out because size only matters in the mirror and to hypocrites

It helps to keep a food diary just write down every thing you eat during the day and check when you get time online and see how many calories you ingesting and then check how many of them where from fat alone, when you want to eat healthy you should avoid foods at are more then 1/3 of the calories from fat, the best to look for is 1/10 or fat free and remember you don't have to cut back on food intake just eat healthier snacks like have carrots or celery instead of chips or an apple you should aim to keep your calorie count between 1500-2500
and allow for that special treat once in a while (something you like but is way high cal like ice cream) this isnt a punishment its more of a restraint once you realize which foods are mostly junk and start with healthier snacks you will probably even feel better more energetic

doing things like this has helped my husband lose 46 lbs in the past 6 months

and try to avoid negative nellys who will harp on your weight or call you fat because how you are emotional really does effect your body's ability to lose weightWww@Answer-Health@Com

your at an unhealthy weight, but no need to worry, your still young, you can lose the weight easily!.

remember to eat at least 1200 calories a day or more, it takes about 3500 calories to put on 1 pound!. so I say eat under 3500 cals to lose weight, and exercise 30 minutes everyday, that is what is expected from WHO (world health organization)!.

Sweetheart I am sure that you are beautiful and if anyone tells you different tell them to kiss your a**!. If your doctor tells you that you are healthy, and you feel healthy, that's all that matters!.

Seriously, I wish America was more like Africa and other countries in the sense that big is BEAUTIFUL!! Our countrys thinking on weight is so twisted, we literally starve and hurt our bodies to be accepted!. Be good to your body!.!.!.it will thank you later when you are old and can function while all of the anorexic/diet freaks are either dead or bed ridden because their bodies no longer operate :)

Your ideal weight would be 105 lbs so below 85 lbs or above 125 lbs could be regarded as underweight or overweight!. You are probably about 50 lbs overweight!.

Three good diets with a high success rate that you might perhaps wish to investigate are the Atkins diet (high animal protein diet, no starchy carbohydrates), the rice diet (very few Asians are overweight) and a vegetarian or vegan diet (very few vegetarians or vegans are overweight)!. Get at least 30 minutes of cardio a day, also drink 8 glass of water a day, eliminate excess sugar in your diet, and track what you eat!. Yes i think you are!. Im 14 and prob about 110 pounds and 157cm tall!.
Stop eating junk foods and soda drinks ok!.
Go exercise for 1/2 hour and pump your ipod while u r at it
