Question: My friend used steroids and now he is impotent!?
my mate has just come off a long steroids cycle, and now he says he is not only impotent, but not even thinking about sex !. he seems to think eventually it will sort its self out but do you think it will!?!?

a male is recieving an immense volume of testosterone! their balls will contract up and usually they can become a bit moodier or more likely to get into an argument e!.c!.t than usual, guys also will want more sex- again due to the testosterone!. on steroids a guy really needs his sleep to!.
if your friend has just came off steroids then he is probably physiclly tired, he isn't getting the suppliment his body was getting used to!

A friend of mine did the same thing - he was on steroids about 3 years, and eventually came off them (due to concerns about health) and he had a terrible time with it!.
He went to the doctor, and told them the whole story, and they just said that it varies from person to person!. It might sort itself out, or it could be permanent!. That was about a year ago!. He's having sex now and again, but nothing like he used to!.
Also, some of the steds make you feel extremely "amorous" so when you conme off, you might feel like suddenly not interested, but it could be that you're comparing it to the time when on these drugs, or before when were younger anyway!.!.!. sometimes can also be that just older and calmer in that respect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, that's part of the price you pay for doing something so potentially dangerous!! If he's really worried, then my advice would be for him to go and see his doctor, who will be able to advise him on how much damage he has done in his area, and if things will improve (sometimes they do with time, sometimes they don't)!.

When you use any drug you take a risk,he should go to his doctor and be honest with him,then he'll know for sure the damage he did to his body!.I wasn't honest with my doctor about drinking until my liver shut down(don't learn the hard way)Www@Answer-Health@Com
