Running helps the gluteus maximus muscles expand and help give you a "fullier" looking back end,however,running isn't going to do the entire trick!.Usually,doing leg lifts or squats with just your leg muscles atleast 3-5 times a week will help tremendously!.
Also,the answer to your other question as to why you do not feel it,at first,you may or may not feel it because you are either not doing it correctly,or you are not stretching the muscle to it's maximum length!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try jumping rope!. There is a lot less impact than running and you don't have to worry about the weather!. Work up to 10 minutes four or five times a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
