I drink from 8-10 liters of water a day. Is this safe? ?!


Question: I drink from 8-10 liters of water a day!. Is this safe!? !?
I'm hypoglycemic,
I'm on an extremely high protein diet,
the only carbs I get is from the salads(all greens) and fruit,
I drink lots of coffee,
If I'm not constantly drinking water I feel really sick,
I'm not diabetic, I had it checked out, I'm hypoglycemic!.
I also speed walk for 35 min straight at 4!.6 miles per hour
and weight train every other day!.
I weight alot and have A LOT of muscle!. I have a BMI of 25 but my muscle consists of more than 40% of my body weight!. I don't have much fat!.

Hypoglycemics need a diet of complex carbohydrates and protein to keep their blood sugar from crashing shortly after eating!. With the amount of excercise you're doing, you are starving your body by eating so much protein and so few carbs!. Everytime you excercise, your blood sugar levels drop, hypoglycemic or not, low blood sugar levels could be the very reason why you feel sick constantly!.

And yes yes yes you are intaking an insane amount of water!. "Drinking several litres over a relatively short period of time could be enough to cause water intoxication!." Water intoxication is basically when you drink so much water you dilute your blood and drown your brain like a sponge!.

Make sure that you are not eating too much red meat!. It could hurt you!! I don't think your high-protien diet is dangerous so long as you're getting it from the right places!. Otherwise, this could be why you're feeling sick as well!.

besides your body sweats alot with all the exercise and you muscular hot physique uses more of it so hydrate or die (camelbak)

may not be the best thing!. i would cut down on the coffee- you must be going to the bathroom all day long!

a liter of water has roughly about 4 glasses of water in it- you are consuming about 32-40 glasses of water a day!. almost 3 gallons of water a day! that's almost crazy! you could be depleting the electrolytes in your system, which is unhealthy!.

i drink one 20oz gatorade per every three !.5L of water i consume!. this helps replenish lost electrolytes!. i drink when i'm thirsty!.

if you need the coffee to feel energy, i would reconsider the diet!. you're obviously not getting anough of the nutrition you need!. not to mention the caffeine in the coffee depletes the nutrients in the foods you are consuming!. you may also notice that your consumption of water will go down if you drink less coffee!. coffee is a diuretic- and can dehydrate you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
