Is speed walking at 4.6 miles per hour considered muscle building or cardio/aero!


Question: Is speed walking at 4!.6 miles per hour considered muscle building or cardio/aerobic exercise!? !?
My friend tells me that I shouldn't speed walk or speed up at the highest incline at 4!.6 miles per hour because it's not considered aerobic or cardiovascular exercise!. He says it's building muscle like weight training and the only aerobic exercise is running!. I can't run due to the sleazy men in my gym staring at my huge you know what!. I feel too uncomfortable!.

My whole life I thought speed walking was cardiovascular or aerobic!.

Am I right!? Is he wrong!?

Speed walking at an incline @ 4!.6 miles per hr is a very excellent cardio exercise!. It's also a high-intensity exercise that helps you to burn off lots more calories, to lose weight!.
