You need the carbs and protein in breakfast cuz you've had no food for 8 hours, post workout you need to refill your gycogen stores, and bed because you need to keep sustained through the night!.

drink your shake within an hour of working out!.!.!.!.the best protein shake for this would be of whey protein!.!.!.
