Weight and Exercise help?!


Question: Weight and Exercise help!?
I'm looking to tone up my body and to be healthy again!. I'm looking to lose about 7lbs, what is a good way to lose this, and to also gain muscle!?

17, 5 foot 7 and 126lbs
I know im not fat, but i have more fat than muscle and it looks odd!.

You're right, 126 lbs is not fat!.

If you used to live a healthy lifestyle, then it should not be that difficult, though since you only weigh 126, it will be much more difficult to lose 7 pounds than someone that weighs 200 lbs!.

One method I used was to to HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)!. Example: Run at 50% speed for 30 seconds, then run at 75-100% for 30 seconds!. Keep alternating for 5 minutes, then rest!.

Gaining muscle comes when you lift weights/do resistance training!. Any resistance training works, so long you are breaking a sweat while doing it, and no cheating! Try to vary your exercises though, working out the same muscle groups will decrease the impact of the exercise (unless you go up in resistance/weight)!. Make sure to consume a protein supplement afterwards (or else your body will be sore the following day!)!.

Eat healthy also! When I lost weight, I noticed that if you have one cheat day, and one "eat whatever you want" day, it's easier to stay on course, provided that your "whatever you want day" you don't totally pig out and eat everything in sight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you don't really have to watch what you eat because you aren't overweight!. but these are just some tips for healthy eating!. and don't skip any meals!. it makes you gain more weight than loose it because your body goes into starvation mode and stores the food you eat as fat instead of using it for energy because it doesn't know when it will get food again!. also if you get hungry between meals have a snack just to fill you up, like rice cakes or fruits and veggies!. it's okay to have some fats as long as you don't over eat them!. try not to eat too many carbs and proteins!.

for exersize, you should try some pilates or swimming!. these work all your muscles and help tone you!. if you do swimming it's makes you lose a lot of weight so i reccomend eating more food, but healthy so you don't look sickly skinny since you're quite tall and already skinny!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just get into the gym - make sure you change up your routine a lot!. if you want to gain muscle - lift heavy!. you'll want to do less reps with heavier weights!. also make sure you get in cardio whether your taking classes or getting on the machines - do a little of both!.

you are most definitely not fat - and don't listen to people on here - i'm sure you are already beautiful and are most certainly not a "fatty" - sheesh!. :)

Exercise and watch your portion size!. An exercise expert once told me that while exercising you know your heart rate is increased enough to burn calories and fat when you can talk but can't sing a song for twenty minutes!.

When I say watch portion control read the labels on the food you purchase and see what "they" consider a portion size!.

Run every other day for at least 30 minutes!. On off day do calisthenics for 30 minutes!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

drink plenty of water, eat plenty of vegetables, start jogging and lifting weights!.lay off the sugar and donuts and you'll be there in 2 weeksWww@Answer-Health@Com

try sit ups!. there pretty easy!.
try 50 a day!. it will help more than you can imagine!. and try squats for your legsWww@Answer-Health@Com
