Do I need to worry about my mercury consumption? Is eating fish safe?!

Question: Do I need to worry about my mercury consumption!? Is eating fish safe!?
I've been on a big kick to start eating healthier and exercising, and my first step was to re-tune what I eat!. I'm a big meat eater; eating red meat 4 or 5 times a week, and filling out the rest of the week with pork and other unhealthy meats!.

I began this week off eating meals of all vegetables and whole grains with fish as my meat replacement!. This morning, I decided to read up more on fish and this whole mercury thing is really freaking me out now!.

Is there a safe way to subsist on a diet with 4 or 5 servings of fish per week without getting mercury poisoning!? Is it something I should worry about, or is it just hype!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I believe the main concern in mercury levels of fish is for pregnant women, so I wouldn't get too scared!. There are also different types of fish that have less mercury in them!. Here's a link to help you!.
