Weight loss help for a male?!

Question: Weight loss help for a male!?
I am a 16 year guy, 190 pounds and 6 foot 3 inches tall - and growing!.
I would like to lose between 10 and 20 pounds - but i have recently had a knee operation and so i cant run or do any intense leg exercise!. Before the operation i was 173 pounds and quite active - playing football and that - but in the past 6 weeks i have gained 17 pounds!.
At this stage i walk for 30 mins on a treadmill at a speed of 3 miles and hour on a 20 % incline 4 days a week (cause apparently you burn more calories walking on an incline)!. My knee is fine with that!.
I would like to lose the weight as fast as possible and i'll do what ever it takes!.
I don't have much money so i cant afford any fancy diet plan or anything like that!.
So yeah, if anyone can help i would like to know about how much i need to exercise and about a diet!.

Thanks!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

To start off with your bmi is in normal range so dont worry your not overweight however it is creeping to the top range so it is good that your concerned and wanting to do something about it!.

what you have to think is that you are no longer burning anywhere near the same amount of energy that you were when you were playing footy!. Plus most likely not as mobile as you once were in walking etc!. However most likely you are still eating the same diet that you were before the operation!.

This means each day you will be eating more then you should be which obviously means weight gain!.

A person of your age and weight should be consuming about 2700kcal a day to remain at your current weight!. You want to look at reducing the amount that you are consuming to around 2000 possibly lower if you feel you are capable of it, however absolutely no lower then 800kcal as you risk not getting all of the essential parts of the diet you require!. Try to consume more carbohydrates then fat, so try to eat more fruit wholemeal bread/pasta this type of thing rather then sugary drinks take aways etc!.

Make sure as well that you eat a good source of meat preferably chicken or turkey as you are still repairing your knee, chicken is high in protein but relatively low in fat!.

Most importantly keep doing what you are doing on the treadmill, this will burn off extra calories and when you feel you are capable try to increase the load and time to increase energy burning!.

The main point i would make is that lowering the energy you take in is a lot easier then increasing the energy you burn through exercise!. So definatly look at your diet first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Inexpensive way of loosing weight is by drinking lots of water!. By doing so, water will flush out some of ur excess fats!. Try drinking 10-12 glass of water daily!. But dont drink more as anything too much is bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's a diet called "Fat Loss 4 Idiots" which can help you lose 9lbs every 11 days!.

It's a "calorie shifter" diet which means that it makes each of the 11 days carry a different amount of calorie intake!. I!.E day 1 will be 1,500 calories, day 2 will be 1,000 calories, etc!.

It works by stimulating your body into thinking that you have plenty of food to eat so it doesn't need to store any fat any more!. This then encourages your body to burn all the stored fat it can - leaving you with a slender figure!.

You can see a full review of the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet here: http://www!.dietingscoop!.com/fat-loss-4-i!.!.!.

Hope this helps!?
