PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!! When will I lose?!


Question: PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!! When will I lose!?
I've been power walking during the week!. I also do a few times of jogging during the walk!. They usually last 15-30 seconds!. (I'm too out of shape to jog the whole way!.) Yesterday night I jogged for over a minute straight however!. I go for about 1!.2 miles!. I do about 5 jogging intervals!. It takes me 20-25 minutes!. When will I start to notice weight loss!? Also, is this a good exercise!? I'm 15, and I weigh 205!. I've cut out almost all junk food and all soda!. I've been doing it since Monday and i LOVE doing it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First let me say that its good that your doing something!.!.!. and LOVE doing it!.!.!. CONGRATS! yes, it should help though, especially since you are cutting out the bad food as well!. Everyone is different however and it could be real soon for you to see results or take a little bit!. Just keep it up, and remember not to out do yourself in a short period of time, it could cause injuries or health problems, so just be careful your not pushing yourself to hard! I admire your thought of trying to lose weight!. If you are trying to see weight come off by watching the scale will ultimately be your downfall!. I was like you!. I was overweight my whole childhood and into early adulthood!. I tried every diet imaginable!. I found out that by watching the scale I would get frustrated and my mind would trick me into believing that I wasn't losing weight!. When you exercise you gain muscle!. This increases at times your weight!. So you may not see the pounds coming off immediately!.

However, be happy that you have increased your time of being able to jog, in time you will see the inches and later the pounds!. Inorder to not get frustrated realize you will reach plateaus, set inches, or second increases on your jogging and measure that way for awhile!. I think what youre doing is great! Keep walking and doing your intervals of short jogging!. I read somewhere that if you do an aerobic exercise such as walking you will boost the amount of calories you burn by double if you do short intervals of higher energy walking or jogging like you are doing!. It seems you are on the right path!.!.Watch what you eat and keep walking!.!.!.I would also suggest that you use some light weights (or cans, whatever you have) to do some strength training!. Well you need to eat but eat heathy foods like salad and stuff and try running about 3 miles instead everyday! Also try 50 jumpin jacks everyday also w/ running 3 miles!Www@Answer-Health@Com
