What is the best everyday type of food to eat after a workout?!
Question: What is the best everyday type of food to eat after a workout!?
I don't want to spend money on protein bars or shakes or anything, so what everyday kind of food would be good to eat after a workout (some days weight-lifting and a bike ride, some days just the bike ride)!?
Right now I usually eat a slice of bread with peanut-butter (lots of protein, but also fat and salt), but am thinking about maybe putting peanut-butter on an apple slice!.
