Question: How can you lose 100 pounds in a month when your in fifth grade!?
i weigh 153 pounds and im in fifth grade and there is the pool party in a month and i need to lose weight and in a month please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Loosing 100 pounds in a month would be near impossible and very unhealthy, but loosing a smaller amount can be done!

Start by looking at your eating habits!.
- Try replacing soda & sugar filled drinks with water!.
- Cut out fast food, (It is so bad for you!)
- Try portioning your sizes

Then start by re-vamping your exercise routine!.
- Try doing a workout in the morning and before you go to bed daily!.
(This can be stretches, crunches, yoga !. !. !.)
- Also, a few times a week fit in a quick jog, walk the dog, play basketball, just get moving for about an hour!.

If you keep up a healthy menu and live an active lifestyle, you will not only loose weight, but also be overall healthier!

Listen, if you lose that much weight, you will not only be seriously, deathly unhealthy, but you will be anorexic, too!.

You see, if you starve yourself, your body goes into starvation mode, and you don't burn as many calories as fast!. This means that when you start eating normal again, you will pack on the pounds faster than you can count!.

True, you are a tad overweight, but at your age it is okay to be a little overweight as you are still growing!.

I would aim at losing five pounds a month, and only losing 30-40 pounds in total!.

Seriously!. Please don't kill yourself over weight!. It's not worth it!. People will judge you by your personality, not your weight if they are good people!.

Remember, you are a wonderful person, and if other people can't see that, it is their loss and you should ignore them!. You are better than that!.

You don't say how tall you are, but the following should help:

The standard baseline is 100 lbs!. at 5'!. For every inch over 5', add 4 lbs!. for a small frame, 5 lbs!. for a medium frame and 6 lbs!. for a large frame!.

What I suggest is for you to concentrate on eating healthfully, limiting sweets and exercising in moderation!. Avoiding "white" foods such as sugar, flour, potatoes and rice will help you lose weight pretty quickly!. HOWEVER, if you go back to your old way of eating (junk and too much of it), you'll just regain it!. Permanent weight loss can be successful only through permanent lifestyle change!. You should probably take a good multi-vitamin and drink plenty of milk or take a calcium supplement!. Avoid drinking a lot of soda pop since many of them, especially colas, contain phosphorous which leaches calcium out of your bones!.

If you start RIGHT NOW, you may be able to lose 12-16 lbs!. in 4 weeks, BUT NO CHEATING with the "white" foods!!

You would kill yourself trying to lose that kind of weight!. If you stop eating, your body will think you are starving and keep the fat on! You need to exercise more and eat less but eat breakfast and not junk food!. Do NOT try anything more than 2 lbs a week!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
