How long do I have to cut food out of my diet to see if that's what is makin!

Question: How long do I have to cut food out of my diet to see if that's what is making me sick!?
I've been nauseated on and off since June, doctors can't figure it out so I'm trying to see if the foods I'm eating are causing me to be sick!. I've cut milk out of my diet this week (since Sunday) and I'm still feeling and nauseated!. Should I stick it out till next Sunday or would it be safe to try to cut one more thing out of my diet and add dairy back in!? Any suggestions of common foods that make people sick!. I'm going to cut out gluten one week and eggs the next, but not sure what I'm going to do after that if I still feel sick!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You're most likely suffering from food intolerances as opposed to allergies, and in this case, there are no tests that will help you determine what's making you sick!. In regards to food intolerances, the only thing to do is an elimination diet!. However, the process will take longer than you think!.

There is hardly a point to doing the diet unless you are going to do it for at 6-8 weeks!. It takes this long for any minor intestinal damage to heal (such as with celiac disease)!. This way you get your body completely cleared of whatever it is you're going to eliminate!. Any shorter of time on the diet don't expect to see any change!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

ideally you should cut that food out for at least 10 days!. remember that mike is hidden in all kinds of foods that you would never imagine!. read all labels very carefully!. some breads have milk powder in it!. you my want to consider asking the doctor for an allergy test this would make things go faster

remember to have a food diary!. and write your feelings in there too

suggestions on foods
milk and dairy, cheeses yogurt (don't forget whey)
eggs
wheat
different meats (my son cant eat turkey)

I have an extremely similar problem!. I found that acidy foods (salad dressing, tomatoes, lemon) and things like milk and eggs weren't helping!. and when I stopped eating those, it was slightly better!. But not much!. So I still eat them, from time to time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
