Pancakes ..... on a diet? HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!! ?!

Question: Pancakes !.!.!.!.!. on a diet!? HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!! !?
Is this healthy!?!?!? (I want to eat this pancake!. I want to make it 2morrow!. (Im gonna eat 1/4 cup of the batter, 1 tablespoon maple syrup(1/4 cup 220 calories), and some blueberries!. Is that HEALTHY or not!?!?

Heres the recipe:
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Fresh Or Frozen Fruit
Maple syrup

Prepare the pan or griddle over medium heat!. Keeping it at high heat will burn the pancakes and low heat will just under cook it!.
Combine the dry ingredients into a bowl and the wet ingredients in another!. The powdered sugar, fruit, and maple syrup are for the toppings after, so don't mix it into the batter!

Beat the wet ingredients with an egg beater and then slowly add the dry mixture in!. Stir well!.
Use a fork and then work your way into the batter to get the lumps out!. Rotate the bowl so you get an even mixture!.
Once smooth, pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the pan or griddle!. Depending on how big you want the pancakes, you can adjust the amount that goes onto the hot surface!.
It should take about a minute per side, but if not, leave it until it is golden brown and then flip it!. The first pancake usually looks funky so don't stress if it comes out wrong!. The other pancakes should come out fine!.
Using a thin spatula, take the finished pancakes off the pan/griddle!. Serve with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, maple syrup, or any combination of the 3!.

Answers:
Firstly, yes you can have pancakes on a diet!. And the amount you are having sounds like it is only going to make 1 pancake!. You can actually have 2 pancakes and it will still be within a healthy breakfast!. Served with fresh fruit and maple syrup will be fine, just make sure not too much of the maple syrup!.

Secondly, yes Canola oil will work just as good as Vegetable oil!. I substitute all the time if I have one on hand and not the other and I've never found any problems!.

Enjoy your breakfast - it sounds delicious :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Panacakes are not healthy if your on a diet!. I would only eat them if your eating a salad for lunch and a light dinner!.

Also Canola oil will work but you should try to use applesauce instead, it usually tastes just as good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

- I think it's healthy if you don't have more than 2 large pancakes ( i think that would 1/4 cup of batter)and you eat it with fresh fruit instead of maple syrup
-yes, i always use canola oilWww@Answer-Health@Com
