What to do after eating too many sweets?!


Question: What to do after eating too many sweets!?
I'm on a diet and I've just eaten a load of my son's sweets inc!. chocolate and fruity snakes!

What should I do to make amends!?!?!?

I've lost 10 pounds so far and was doing really well!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

We all have our down moments when we weaken on our diets the thing is to not worry too much about it after the event! There are a few things you could do, 1) clean the house from top to bottom, will take a few hours and result in burning off lots of calories to make up for the sweeties and also you will have a nice clean and tidy house to relax in afterwards!. 2) put on some music and dance around like a woman possessed for an hour, your son might quite like this too! 3) get your coat on and go for a brisk walk for an hour!

The most important thing to do is not let the fact that you have broken your diet put you off staying on your healthy eating plan!. Just be really really good for the rest of the week!. Good luck :-))Www@Answer-Health@Com

All you can do now is pick yourself back up and get back to doing what you've been doing before you had this incident and that's eat healthy and exercise! You could do some extra exercises to help burn off the extra calories you took in today! See I find when I get tempted to eat some sweets I ask myself is this worth an extra 30 minuets of work out time or an extra hour work out time!. If its yes I eat it if its no I don't I have yet to say yes though lol I always answer no every time cause I already work out 1 to 2 hours a day as it is!. What I do is immediatly take my two table spoons of fiber and go for a brisk walk!.

The fiber will absorb some of the Calories, fat and sugar that you ate, and the walk will help move things along!.

Don't be hard on yourself, it happens to the best of us!. You just get back on track and try to know your triggers so you can avoid the situation in the future!.

PS you might consider a "bad foods" ban on your house!. I have to do this, I can't keep myself out of the bad foods if they are in the house!. My boyfriend helps, he likes chips, but keeps his chips in the car or hides them!.

If you decide to do the "Bad Foods Ban" then when your son comes home confess what you did to him and say sorry!. Ask him if you can explain what is going on inside of you!. Tell him about how frightened you are of how out of control you can be and also frightened of the getting heart disease!. Ask him if he can forgive you and then tell him that from now on there will be a bad foods ban on the house!. No one- including you -will be bringing home bad foods to store!. One of the reasons is because you can't trust yourself in respecting other peoples food and the other reason is because you tend to eat more of the bad stuff when it is stored in the house!.

Tell him once a week you will buy one small goodie for yourself and him!. The goodie will be about an ounce!. Because that is all that is healthy and that is all that a person needs to have!.

You can turn this into an act of love for your son by teaching him portion control!. Love your son by helping him to become HEALTHY!.

The best thing I ever did for myself was take a Nutrition class, this taught me what healthful eating is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good decisions come from bad experiences!. Water is the best form of detox!. Wait 2 hours then exercise!. Just remember you don't need refined sugar, ever!. Keep to your metabolic type diet, routine is good, keep to what you need, keep to your goals, always set your steps to your goals 100% achievable!. That means working out what success means for you!. Always be successful!. You cant lose!.

dont lose faith, just do dome exercise like going for a brisk 45 minute walk or do some hoovering for an hour!. Or just let it be, every now and then its good to give in to your cravings and be normal just make sure you go back to your diet tomorrow xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Don't give yourself a hard time, what's done is done, just jump right back onto your normal eating pattern and don't think about it, just don't make a habit of it!. You need a treat now and again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Let them settle in your stomach a little then exercise like crazy to keep from gaining weight!. Instead of dieting, why not adopt healthy lifelong habits that include sneaking in a few treats every now and then so you don't binge!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
