Question: Hey i have a serious problem !? binge eating aghhhh!!?
baswically i do it most days andi use to be so thin and have gained 70 poubds because of this yas i know!.!.!. so i am now 140 pounds ughhhand feel so horrid and revolting!. i tend o binge on 6000 cals a day no probllem and i need help! any ideas from exbingers> please dont say , drink loads of water, munch on ice or snack on carrots because seriously that is BORING! AND if i feel like a binge i am not gooing to say i " i know im going to eat some ice, that will cire my craving for high fat chocoalte "

try my diet, I dont binge because i eat so often and i eat alot of protein which fills me up!. When i do feel the urge to binge i have a cup of green tea or some sugar free gum
i am a 17 year old female who weighs approximately 50 kilos and I am 168cm in height!. I go to the gym three times a week for an hour of cardio (mainly on the cross trainer) and according to the machines i burn about 850-950 calories each time!. ( i know the machines aren't that accurate)!.
My daily diet is ;
Breakfast: all bran with semi skimmed milk and 2 pieces of fruit ussually nectarines!. (300 calories ish)
Snack: apple (50 calories)
Lunch; turkey sandwich (whole meal break and turkey slices no spread) (150 calories)
Snack; will bar (213 calories)
Dinner; varied but consists of 300 calories!. tonight i had a fish cake, green beans and noodles!.
Dessert; 250 calories!.!.maybe and icecream or yohgurt and bar
Supper; cereal with semi skimmed milk (allbran or special k) with a piece of fruit (250-300 calories)

I drink two litres of water each day and i have about two diet drinks and two cups of green tea!.

You have to keep busy!!! Seriously this is a big problem and your not gonna get anywhere if you keep doing it, your just gonna get depressed and feel huge and unattractive!. If you are not willing to snack on healthy things then just cut the snacking altogether!. Go for a walk instead, watch a fim, take a shower!.!.!.anything! Cravings for snacks tend to last no longer than 20 minutes!.!.!.you can get over them if you just refuse to give in!! Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask yourself WHY you're bingeing!!!

The more you binge, the more you gain and the worse you will feel!.!.!.!.and the more you will binge (because you feel disgusting)!!

Are you upset about something!? Under pressure and work, home or school and not dealing with it!?!? Sometimes people use yummy sweet food to push down feelings they down want to face!.

If it's not stress, I would suggest two other things:

1!. Exercise - if you get out there and walk or work out or dance or WHATEVER!.!.!.!. you will feel better about your body and be less likely to gorge on the wrong things!.

2!. Sugar cravings are fed by sugar and then need MORE sugar to survive!. If you detox the sweets and carbs for a while, you might be able to kick the cravings and start fresh!.

Dieting is not fun and is certainly boring but you will only lose weight if you exercise and eat healthily and cut your calorie intake to 1500 per day!. And no, you cant have chocolate or anything else loaded with salt sugar or fat!.

I used to never binge until I started restricting my diet and exercising a lot!. I finally got too tired of it!.I had no energy even though I looked great!. After that I just binged!. I had been so used to restricting food that I couldn't stop thinking about it so I developed an unhealthy relationship with food!. When I was younger, 16 or 17 I had a great appetite but I never put on weight because I didnt think about food and that is the key I think!. If you want to eat, eat and do NOT feel guilty about it!. If you feel you have put on a few pounds, go for a run!. Keep it simple, don't devise complicated thought patterns around food!. We all need food and exercise and if you allow yourself to eat when you want and make the effort to do a little exercise when you feel you need it that is all the time you should spent thinking about food!.
