Weird but true... I loose weight when I stop exercising?!

Question: Weird but true!.!.!. I loose weight when I stop exercising!?
Ok so I work out at least 4 days a week and I've been loosing weight gradually which I am ok with because I know I shouldnt loose weight too quick!.

So anyway, like a month ago I stopped doing exercise for about a week and a half and I noticed I dropped 2 or 3 pounds which I thought was weird!. My food consumption was the same and everything was the same except the exercise!.

Now, because I started classes again I've only been going to the gym 3 days a week or maybe 4 if I have time and this has been going on for 2 weeks now!. Since then, I've dropped an additional 4 pounds!

Can anybody help me explain why this is happening!?!?

Thanks in advance!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your diet is mostly fruits and vegetables, these are low cal foods and so most likely you'd not be forming fat especially if you're eating lest than your body requires!. It thus means that even though you're not doing vigorous formal exercise, the amount of energy required for your day to day activity is more than the amount of cal you're consuming and so your body burns fat to provide the required energy!. If your eating lest food than your body requires, your body will also burn muscle!.

Or it could be that your system was still producing extra energy, preparing you for the extra exercise, not recognizing as yet that you had stopped!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can't tell you why it is happening, but it happened to me too!. Although, to be fair I replaced exercising with not eating!. I eat more normally now, but can't manage large amounts of food!. But I eat so much junk, and I don't put on any weight, whereas when I was exercising and eating normally, I didn't shift any of it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

muscle wieghs more than fat
maybe you are gaining muscle
its not about losing wieght it is about burning fatWww@Answer-Health@Com

your muscles might be turning to fat and fat weighs less so you are loosing weight Www@Answer-Health@Com

Muscle weighs more than fat!.!.!.you are probably losing muscle mass!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One very important you did not address in your post was what type of exercise you typically engage in at the gym!. Is your workout strength-building or aerobic, or a combination!? When a person engages in strength building exercises, they tend to gain muscle weight, which is a GOOD thing!. The more muscle mass we have, the more calories we burn daily!. That may be one reason that you have continued to see the weight loss despite your decrease in exercise!. A more accurate way of measuring your weight loss is to measure yourself around the waist, hips, thighs, breasts and arms, and record your measurements over time!. The scale can be tricky, because muscle weighs more than fat, and even as you are getting healthier, which has an exponential effect, some think that a gain in muscle weight is a negative!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
